About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“Hello! For sale is my 1947 Willy’s Jeep Project. Currently rolling, but not running, it was summer project but I no longer have the tools to finish it. The tub is from a 1947 Willy’s CJ2A, and it has the original seats, steering, gauges, and front axle. It has a larger Ford 8.8 Rear End to accompany the 5.3L LS Engine in the front and the 4-speed 4L60E auto transmission in the middle. Will be a great project for someone to finish! Continue reading →
This is a project. The seller sold an FC-150 last week.
“Selling a 1959 Jeep FC170. IT HAS A 289 FORD ENGINE WITH A C4 TRANSMISSION.
Also comes with a extra running gear from a Chevy Blazer. Myself would prefer to keep the jeep running gear under it. The blazer running gear would give it a higher highway speed.
Only selling because I just DO NOT have time to finish it as it does need some TLC.
It runs drives and stops and 4 wheel drive works. Does have the normal jeep rust but not as much as most.”
“Stretch 20 in mustang rack and pinion power steering 4 coilover shocks for Chrome shocks 456 geared front and rear Dana 30s t90 transmission with advance adapters for a small block Chevy engine lots of extra parts”
“This Dana 18 came off of a 1957 Willys cj3b. $300 firm. The Overdrive is worth the $300 by itself.
It sat for 30 years and will need a rebuild.”
CASH only. No trades. NO checks of ANY kind.
This newspaper was featured in the August 11, 1949, issue of the North Carolina Marion Progress Newspaper. Bristol’s Auto Service published several jeep-related ads, including this one.
