This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “This old Jeep is a consignment unit, so I do not have a personal feel for the unit. It seems to be in very good condition, overall. It has the flat head 4-cylinder engine, and the owner states that it has a new clutch. The Jeep runs and drives good. The snow blade goes up and down with the winch. Manual angle adjust. The owner set the price, and I think he is pretty firm on it. If a cool old CJ2A is something you can use, this one might fit the bill.”
UPDATE: This was listed in both Texas and Washington State. It’s not clear where the actual location is.

“1951 Jeep Willys CJ3A. New tires (less than 1,500 miles), 2 spares and an extra transmission and transfer case. Motor has less than 1.000 miles on rebuild. Cloth bikini top and heater under dash. New fuel pump, new front and rear springs and shackles. Great for hunting.”

“1956 Willys pickup with a post hole auger on the back. PTO drivin off the transfer case to a PTO gear box on the rear of the pickup. Has a 250 inline 6 Ford and a Ford 3 speed adapted to a Dana 18 transfer case.

-previous owner patched the frame in many places
-lots of jimmy rigged stuff
-radiator has small leak. Does not overheat
-no brakes
-it’s ugly
-no title/off road use only
Overall it works well but it’s ugly and nasty. Price will go up as I keep fixing/replacing parts.”
