About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

“1951 Willys CJ3a. The jeep is complete excluding the seats and the engine. Comes with a rollbar matching wheels all body components and a complete drive line consisting of transmission transfer case driveshaft front and rear axles.”
“Three classic Willys CJ Jeeps. First is a 1951 CJ3A with plow. Ran a couple of years ago and will run again. Title in hand. Next are two 1940s vintage CJ2As. One of those is complete and correct. Have NY registration. All have been outside for a long time and are rusty and rough. Save these from the crusher! A great collection for a project or for the valuable parts that are nearly impossible to find nowadays. $800 takes all. A steal! You move. Must take all three. Will not separate or part out.
Please provide your name and cell phone number if interested in a reply.”
My newest cutting board arrived today, thanks to an eWillys reader named Tom Gallagher. His boards earned a great write-up in the National Barbecue news a few years ago. He carefully selects the wood and makes each one himself.
This is a great addition to my growing collection of cutting boards (I like kitchen stuff as much as jeep stuff), so many thanks to Tom for sending it! You can learn more about his boards at his website: http://pigcuttingboard.com/
This has drive train upgrades. It also had a later model jeep rim as an air filter cover. It looks like the rear ends of the body have been lengthened, yielding a slightly different body lines along the rear bottom of the jeep.

2″ body lift, brand new Best soft top with doors
Upgraded steering box, new brakes, brake lines, and brake cylinders and upgraded bronco drums. Mallory distributor with high energy coil.
Aluminum rims and newer tires. Aluminum radiator, new chrome alternator and up graded power brakes.
Tilt front 1940’s MB style windshield, with new gaskets/seals.
Exhaust louder with headers, but could be quieted down with different mufflers.
Two heater cores, for heat and defrost.”
The Truck ad is from the September 8, 1955, issue of the Heppner Gazette-Times, while the wagon is from the October 27, 1955, issue. I guess the 1955 fall advertising theme was “All-Purpose”.
