1952 Jeep CJ-6 – M-170 $4,250 Auburn, CA

Needs some stuff but you don’t see a ton of these, very hard to find the parts and pieces for these, but that’s the fun at times. I did not locate that funky mount on the back of the rig in any other photos easily, I looked at a bunch. These can be very specific parts at times.

1948 Willys Jeepster $10,500 Walnutport, PA

Might have posted this before.

Information from seller:

It was originally a 4 cylinder car. I put in an F161 6 cylinder that had been rebuilt from a 51 Jeepster. Overdrive works, I installed 4:27 gears in the rear. You can run it on the highway now. New wiring harness, new clutch, new master cylinder, new convertible top. New gas tank. Runs and drives nice. It needs new floors, it has sheet metal screwed in now. It had belonged to a Shriner, and he had a million lights on it, the holes have been welded, and primed. I am located in Walnutport PA. $10,500

1945 Ford GPW $10,000 Las Vegas, NV

1945 Ford GPW $10,000 Las Vegas, NV

Craig sent this over via email, it is cross posted on Willys for Sale and there is contact info on that ad see below for link to that. It’s a pretty cool rig that has been with him since he was 12, so its been through some adventures with him and his family along the way which is really cool. The modifications make sense for a trail rig that they used to explore all over the CA Sierras and then moved to Nevada. The rig will need some work, brakes and rough idle. If you needed additional info I can pass that on email, you can email post@ewillys.com Thank you for checking this one out.

Information from seller:

This “sporterized” GPW has been in my family for 60 years. I learned how to drive this jeep when I was 12 years old in 1968 and drove it when I was in high school. We used it for hunting in the Sierras and my father kept it until 2010 when he could no longer drive. I’ve had it since, first in California and now in Nevada. I’m now too old to work on it, so it’s time to let another MB/GPW enthusiast take it!

Here are the modifications:

Engine: 1973 Ford Pinto 2.0 liter 4-cylinder

Electrical: 12V conversion throughout, tachometer, new battery and starter solenoid

Drive train: T90 with Warn overdrive, Cutlas Power Lock Hubs in front (turn rotating screws with screwdriver to engage FWD), 4:11 gears in rear differential

Fuel: Electric fuel pump, 20-gallon custom gas tank under rear seat, original fuel tank was removed due to corrosion. Valve in place for switching between front and rear tanks.

Brakes: Wheel cylinders and lines have been rebuilt; Tow bar has mechanically activated brake cylinder to add jeep braking along with tow vehicle.

Tires: BF Goodrich LT 235/75R15 tires and spare are like new

Accessories: Warn winch, Sun tarp and full soft top with frame, motorized windshield wipers, AM radio, Ash tray, Gun rack, Roll bar, Seat belts

Known issues: Master cylinder needs rebuild; brakes work but need fluid top-off every year. Carburetor needs rebuild – rough idle.

1949 Willys Jeepster Roller $2,500 Greenwood, SC

Another one that would be a good fit for the building lots of access to work on systems. Body is noted as rough. And another note for the book, if you have never bought a brand new set of tires for a Willys project that has never seen the street, are you really a Willys person. I think my one set that are just complete trash with zero miles are 21 years old.

Information from seller:

Frame with rebuilt motor and transmission. Comes with body and majority of parts to be complete. Body in rough shape but buildable. New brakes, clutch, and much more. Brand new Koker 3” Firestone whitewalls ($1200). Ask for any more photos and details. Firm at $2,500. Has title

Willys Light

Nate scored another Willys Light, he sure has a knack for these.

Details from Nate:

I just wanted to share my latest finds. I picked up another WIllys sleeve valve light plant, I also came with a glass battery, a watch fob, some literature, a sign that was used a roof shingle and a cutaway salesman model that shows how the sleeve valves work. I will be making a video on all this stuff when I get the engine running.
