Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “I have my 1944 Flatfender willys jeep up for sale. No motor but i have the original transmission for it. body is in good shape. The restoration was started on it but never completed. I don’t have the title but i do have a clean vin plate and can put you in touch with the woman who has gotten titles for me for other cars before. Not interested in any trades.”

“Ive got a 1970 Cj6 with a 4 cyl and manual trans. Was running but has been sitting. I have videos of it running. Was always used on the hunting lease so no title but can put you in contact with a title service that i have used in the past if youre trying to get it on the road. Has rust so the body isnt the best but makes a great hunting jeep. $1000 obo.”

UPDATE: The bottom clip seems to have been a small part of this nearly eight-minute clip of the Ford GPs being rolled off the line for the QMC. Some of this video we’ve seen and some we haven’t. This was the first batch of 400 Ford GPs, delivered March 19, 1941 (which was part of the first contract of 1500 Ford GPs).
