Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Blaine remembered watching the TV show Gentle Ben and seeing a Tux Park CJ-5. Recently he began searching on line and discovered he was right. Dennis Weaver played game warden Tom Wedloe. Tom drove a Tux Park CJ-5. You can see a couple photos that Blaine found below:

(06/27/2018) This looks like a nicely executed build. It has a Bobcat hood, a stainless windshield, and an early 2A grille. No description provided.

Has a tiny bit of rust. Could be worth a look.
“All original small rocker area needs patch. Just spent 900 on new brakes. Runs good but carb tempermental. 2 new front tires all emblems intact rear seat in good condition.”

“Rare unique Panel Delivery. The metal on this wagon is in excellent condition, no dents including roof. There is no rust in any area of the sheet metal. Where all the corners meet are all factory fit. The barn doors open and close and fit perfect. It is straight, all the original parts are still there including the 6-226 super hurricane engine that runs and drives. #6 cylinder smokes needs TLC. Has original trans, original seat frames come with it, also a factory installed Ramsey winch runs from the power of the engine. It needs paint, the passenger door window and vent window need to be replaced. The first of the sport utility wagons. This truck is a workhorse.”
