This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. UPDATE: This was for sale in 2017 for $5000. It’s now on eBay with a starting bid, with no reserve, of $1000. I don’t recognize the drill.

“I have a 1958 Jeep/Willys FC150 (Forward Control) project for sale. It is completely original, in need of a complete restoration, and has a 90′ drilling rig in the bed. It also has a PTO Driven front winch. I can provide a Bill of Sale. I am asking $5000.00, but cash talks loudly.”

Seller has a few CJ jeeps there, too, but unclear if they are for sale or not.
“Willy 1942-1945 MB jeeps, Ford 1942 GPW, Willys M38A1. I have 4 Military project jeeps in various conditions for sale. Some have titles and some do not. None are complete. Please look at the pictures then set up a time on the weekends to see them. They will take some time to dig out and have ready for a trailer so again please look at the pictures. If you are interested we can set up a time to look at them and go from there.”

This windshield looks to me to be a DJ-3A Convertible windshield, It’s missing the turn tabs across the top that secure the top.

Has all data plates in place. Does not run an tires are flat.
Tub has some rust but is repairable.

“For sale I have a Willys M38A1 Jeep project I started last year. I have too many other projects and really need to move this one along. It was an early USMC jeep. The frame and running gear have all been cleaned, blasted, primed and repainted. The engine, tranny, and transfer case have all been rebuilt. Entire brake system is new including master cylinder, brake lines, wheel cylinders, and brake shoes. new wheel bearings and all seals replaced. steering has been rebuilt. I have the body tub, hood, grill, and fenders. Included is an original windshield that has already been sandblasted, primed, painted, and new seal and glass installed. I have over $4000 invested. Asking $2500. No title, but will provide a bill of sale. Please see pictures and ask any questions. Thanks!”
