This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1951 Willys CJ3A Jeep, L-134 engine, T90 manual 3 speed transmission, Dana 18 transfer case, Dana 25 front differential, Dana 44 rear differential. Engine runs very well but has 50 psi compression (a bit weak). Shifts great, drives good. “Mile Marker” MM front locking hubs. Solid body and frame, no rust. New carter carburetor, new gas tank, like new soft top, great tires. Basically a real nice rig.”

(07/15/2018) Hasn’t been run in 3 years. Includes a matching trailer.
“1957 Jeep FC150.
– Been in the family for about 30 years
– Rhino lined truck bed and interior about 20 years ago
– New exterior paint about 15 years ago
– Original engine (Hurricane 4 Cylinder), transmission (3 Speed Manual with Overdrive), etc. with some modifications (overdrive and locking hubs added before initial purchase)
– The engine turns over but it won’t completely run on it’s own. I suspect that the fuel pump is the issue but I’m not certain. The engine isn’t seized though. Last started and ran about 3 years ago.
– Comes with a matching trailer.
– I have some original manuals and sales material that I would provide with it.

Factory 2wd wagon, F head 161 6cyl. 3 on the tree w/OD
rebuilt carb, fuel pump. Fuel tank has been sealed, newer brake system. Been sitting for 4 years, does not run currently. It does have rust in the roof, floors, doors, and rockers. I have an extra roof section, doors, grille, rear tailgate, rear hatch.
Still have original air cleaner and wiper motor.”

Matt’s got this old truck for sale. He’s clearing out some of his jeep collection for a VEC project.
“I have a 1951 Willys pickup truck in need of a new home. The truck is in pretty rough shape. The cab has a lot of rust and part of the frame has weak spot. It does not have a bed or seat however the rest is there. It has a flathead ford V8 that ran not too long ago. It does still have the stock willys transmission and transfer case. It also has a lift and pump setup for a plow but I do not have the blade. It is mostly a parts vehicle or could be restored with a lot of work. I have too many other projects in the works and would rather see someone use it. Bill of sale only. Asking $900 obo. Call/text or email. If the ad is still up, it is still available. Thank you”

While returning from our short camping trip, we spotted this 3B motoring down I-84 at 60MPH heading from Pendleton to Echo, Oregon. It was perfect weather for a jeep drive.
