This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “Old military Hobart welder/generator. Non-working, non running. The imporant item is the engine. It’s a 4 cylinder Willy’s motor!!! The rest of the machine is salvage. It was running 2 years ago. Just make a decent offer & its yours. I’m 71yo & simply cannot disassemble and salvage it for scrap. If you want to make a few extra bucks come make an offer and I will give you a great deal. You must load and haul out of here”

The headline of the ad shows a price of $100, but the two combat rims (with 2 tires) are priced at $150 and two single piece Combat-like(?) rims are $50. Thus it appears all four tires are $200???

Tires are old but hold air and roll.
Two wheels are militarily split rims, for the authentic look. Hard to find. $150 for both.
Two are riveted single piece rims.
$50 for both.

Dave just scored a Dually adapter kit off of eBay. He’s also got a set of fenders. I really like those Free-Lock hubs, too.

(08/08/2018) Has a variety of updates.
“1943 Willys with fiberglass tub, mid 60s chevy 283 v-8 ,four barrel carb, headers, power steering. Interior has new carpet, tilt steering, fancy gauges, grenade shift knobs, gun rack, stereo. It has a manuel 4 speed with throttle on the stick, high lift jack, bikini top. Has duel exhaust, front disk breaks, lift kit, wheels and tires. The front axle is a dana 30 with 456 gears with power lock. Rear axle is AMC 20 with solid detroit lockers. The transfer case is a dana 18 or 20 not sure. This babies a STRONG runner, OFF ROAD/ROCK CRAWLER. Good running condition and just registered for another year!!”

“I am the second Owner.
When I purchased the Jeep from the original owner, I wanted to keep it as original as possible, yet make it mechanically sound. Garage kept.
Below is a list of the work I have done since I purchased the jeep. It has no body rust. I chose to keep the paint original except for the interior metal.
*Rebuilt F-134 engine.
*Rewired the 6 volt electrical system.
*Replaced radiator
*Resealed T-90 transmission
*Upgraded brakes to disc on the front and rebuilt the rear brakes. New master cylinder.
*New front hubs.
*New leaf springs – front and rear.
*New shocks.
*New tires.
*New seat upholstery.
*New dash gauges.
*Rebuilt carburetor.
*New hoses and belts.
*New battery.”

“I bought this from the original owner,so yes the original title comes with it.It has a 1966 chevy small block 327 in it.It sat in his garage for the last 25 years.It runs great,no noises, smoke,ticks nothing purrs like a kitten.Has a huge warn winch on it,I dont think it has ever been used, and yes it works.Has the rare hard to find arctic top.The floors are solid.May look at partial trades but would rather sell it.”
