Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “I have a project Willy’s jeep, has a title with it, set up for Chevy motor, rear mounted fuel tank, hanging pedals and hydraulic clutch, T-19 4 speed with a Dana 18 t-case. 2 windshield frames, YJ Wrangler springs already in place. Axles are just gm 10 bolt and 12 bolt for rolling it around. (Not bolted in) has drive lines. Don’t want a project at this point. Come and get it!”

(01/12/2016)”Selling my Willys jeep 1950 cj-3a MB , New original rebuilt engine,transmission, and transfer case . Runs really strong . It doesn’t run at the moment …..needs a steering box, Its non oped right now . An old new JEEP !
I have the Koenig top minor dents no windows but I do have new felt for the windows . Still has the name plate !
When I rebuilt put new wires in made it 12v put new electronic distributor ,coil , spark plugs , (allot better than previous, better compression ) . New water pump ,gas pump , oil pump , oil sender , carburetor , alternator , all parts for engine ,transfer case , 4 leaf springs , new brakes . all seals .

This price list came from Willys Overland Sales book. Given it mentions the Jeepster, but not a CJ-3A, my guess is that this was produced sometime in 1948.
It’s listed as a 1946, but also as a 1947. The serial number suggests it is a 1948. Looks nice.
