About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

“1949 Willys Jeepster VJ-3
Cute little 1949 Jeepster. Runs, drives, stops, clean title. Smiles and waves from everybody wherever you go.
Reliable original GoDevil Jeep 4-cyl engine, 3-speed manual trans with overdrive.”
“Runs well. Starts easily. We use it for around town trips in the summer.
I have owned this jeep for 48 years. We originally found it sitting in the grass behind the Texaco station in Augusta, Mt.
We have restored it numerous times over the decades. (Added a few photos of one of the restorations.) I drove it to high school in the mid 1970’s. My older sister drove it to high school before that. Our son drove it to Bozeman high in the early 2000s.
All mechanical parts work well including motor, transmission and transfer case, differentials, locking front hubs etc. It leaks a little oil like all cars from the 40’s. Oil pressure, temp and voltage gauges work. Fuel and odometer / speedometer don’t.
We have procured most parts from Willy’s Overland in Toledo, OH. Good supplier of quality parts and technical advice.
Comes with a tight fitting black soft top with nice doors that shut well.
We love this Jeep but now are gone much of the summers and are simply not using it nearly as much as we used to. Time for it to go to a new home.”
