About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
Daryl’s got a good price on this jeep. It has a Warn winch and what appears to be a warn overdrive.
“Great little Jeep that has been sitting for several years.
All original drivetrain except for motor is a Buick v6.
Motor fires but needs carb rebuilt.
Spent it’s whole life in Eastern Washington so has very little rust.
Powerlock in rear axle.
11” brakes on all 4 corners.
Upright Warn winch that works.
Clean Washington title in my name with collector plate.’
“1942 Ford GPW Script: Serial number 34183. Date of delivery, 6-16-42. This is a project jeep. The engine is an original GPW, it does not match the frame and data plate in numbers. Engine is stuck, but shows no external damage or cracks. Transmission is the correct early type with the fill plug on the right side. Radiator is F-marked as are most of the other parts on the jeep. Does not have combat wheels. I do not have extra parts to put with it. What I did have, is now on the jeep to make it complete. I have an original WWII pintle hook to put on, but it is not F-marked. Body is great shape for its age. Rust issues have been documented in the photos. The frame is exceptional. The front gussets are gone but the horns have never been plated, gusseted, welded or broken. This goes for the rear also. To make the dash more complete, I put a new temp gauge in, and a new keyed ignition switch. I have also included another original grill since the one on the jeep is banged up bad. Sold without title.”
“BARN FIND!!! All original- never modified. Command car with radios. And ultra rare artic kit. (Southwind heater) 95% rust free. Currently not running- but easy restoration. Clean tn title.”
“Have had this vehicle for over 40 years. Most of the work was done in mid 70’s. I put in storage shortly thereafter. I brought it out of storage about 10 years ago and brought it to it’s current condition – about 90% complete. The engine and exhaust still need to be finished. There is no top. There are many, many spare parts including the original flat-head and spare V6. This is the original Jeep Wrangler!”
“1952 M38A Military Jeep built by ford in canada. Restorable condition. All original equipment i tact, including original tires and 16″ wheels. Needs floors replaced but out side panels good. Unrestored and not running. $2000.00 text”
