About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“Jeep Willys 1942 for sale! Need gone asap! Up and running… runs good, but the brakes aren’t that good. Perfect for someone who has a passion for mechanics. No stickers. We have the title.”
“1949 Willys CJ-3A 4×4 Jeep with the Buick Dauntless 225 V-6 engine. Jeep has many NEW PARTS, like Battery, brake drums, brake master cylinder, alternator, carb choke, radiator electric fan, turn signals, parking lights, tail lights, vinyl bikini top, front seats, Instrument gages, and probably some other things I’ve forgotten. It has been partially painted with flat black to protect the tin. Tires are in excellent condition, and there’s a spare. It starts, runs, and drives, (2 and 4 wheel drive work), but it’s still a project in progress. It still needs a few things, like some body work, paint, a parking brake, and any custom work, that would turn it into a special attention getter, or rock climber.
Call or email to see it. If you have an Area Code that is not 575, 505, 520, or 915, email me, and tell me why you don’t have a local Area Code. I won’t answer distant Area Code calls, or Texts because of scammers wasting my time, trying to scam me. No, I will not do shipping, or give out any paypal info. Jeep will only be sold in person, and for cash. Asking $2,500.”

“This was meant to be a parts Jeep for my 1948 Willys restoration but it was in pretty good shape so I started restoring this one also. I have overhauled the transmission and transfer case. I pulled the heads and oil pan on the engine and it was in good shape. Have done the body work on one finder but the rest of the body needs work. There is rust on the floor boards and the drivers finder needs work. I have to many projects so she has to go. This is a complete jeep everything is here. You could make it drivable in a weekend or finish restoring it. I know the history of the jeep but do not have a title. However, you could get a bonded title for about $100. You finish what I started.”
The new issue of Dispatcher Magazine was just released. In it you can read my updated version of the Free Lock article that I wrote as a post several months ago.
