Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. The front frame rails look like they’ve been worked on some. This likely has a reproduction body.

“Good solid running 65 year old Jeep Classic with Antique Tags good till 2023. Restore to your liking or use it the way it is on your Ranch or hunting lease. The longbox is handy for feed or supplies. I have windshield (cracked) but frame is good along with some other items and a matching spare tire. Has 12 volt system. Also, new gas tank, water pump, and new brakes. Driver’s seat needs upholstery. Fun vehicle that should hold its value or increase with restoration. $6,200.”

Seller believes this to be an M-38 body, but it looks more like a replacement body. The CJ-3A title is probably correct.
