About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
(03/19/2017) Doug spotted this one. Might be a post ’72 CJ-6 frame given the front crossmember?
“Jeep CJ6 NOS frame. Never been installed on a Jeep.
Besides surface rust the frame is in great shape.
Could be used to replace your rusty frame, or use it to build your dream Jeep.
Make offer ”
“Custom 1961 Willys truck. Great offroad/mud truck platform. 327 smc, turbo 400 trans with B&M shift kim and 1500 rpm stall converter. Engine needs rebuilt/replaced (suspected timing or fueling issue) and there is a small leak on the trans output shaft housing. 1961 Willy’s cab and front clip sitting on ’73 blazer frame. Custom fabricated bed and front fenders. Body and interior fully shot with bed liner (minor cracking around cowling on hood. Looking for a good home to restore it to its former glory. ”
“5 15 x 8 Steel wheels 5 1/2 bolt pattern fits older jeeps and Fords, not dented nor damaged, 4 wheels have new valve stems, excellent shape. Wheels came off my 67 Jeep Commando, I think these will sell quick. Cash only.”
Looks solid. You can buy the M-38 for only $8500 by itself.
“I have a older restoration. 1950 M38 done 30 years ago when nos parts were easy, with summer top, grc 9 radio set, back seat ect. Its 100 % rust free and stright with no bondo, one of the best m38 I bought then. now the bad news, I used it 30 years ago to drive into my silver mine (worked great) and then parked it in the barn, were it has sat since. So the gas is ugly, batterys are shot, tires do hold air and look great with 100 % tread. (but they are still 30 years old) brakes dont work, the seals will need replacing. I now need the storage and the jeep has to go , price is 8500.00 there is also a M100 1/4 trailer for sell. The m100 trailer is real nice, right hitch, cover, used it with my m38 jeep, the trailer has not moved in 30 years, been stored inside the barn. I need the space. The good, body, paint, hitch, fenders ect , not so good, tire shop broke 3 lung nuts, studs years ago to fix a flat so the lugs need to be replaced, the floor is a little wavy (nothing bad but it is not 100% new, I used it to haul my supply in to the mine )1800.00 or if you buy the jeep and trailer 9800.00 Please no tire kickers, I only want monny, no trades, and I dont need any help to sell the jeep. In short if you dont have the cash dont call. ”
Craig shared this one. Runs but could use some work.
“For sale or trade: 1966 Kaiser Jeep FJ-6 Fleetvan with its original F-134 Hurricane 4 cyl. engine and automatic transmission and two wheel drive. It apparently was a parcel delivery or mail truck. It’s not ready for the highway, but it does run and appears to have low miles. The body is very solid and made of aluminum or galvanized metal. The left side window is out and the drivers window (right side) needs repair. The rear slide-up door is in good shape but needs some adjustment. This would make a really cool ice cream truck or concession truck. I’m asking $2250 or will consider trade. Let me know what you have.”
“Body/Tub and frame are rust free and straight
“Dauntless/Oddfire” 225ci V6, Pertronix electric ignition, Carter AFB 400cfm electric choke carb
Front Dana 30 drum brake with factory power steering (added by previous owner, not original)
Rear Dana 44 drum brake
Dana/Spicer 18 twin stick Transfer Case
Turbo 400 3 speed auto Art Carr gated shifter (added by previous owner)
Full K-Line soft top with full doors and half doors
Full Roll-Cage
Rancho leaf springs with unknown lift,
(5) 34×10.5x15LT Swamper LTB TSL tires (spare is new, other 4 are >80%)
This was purchased about 12 years ago to become a toy/project and shortly after coming home not much happened to it. It’s sat under cover, undriven except to move it around from building to building. Runs and drives fine, tags are expired title is clean. Total miles are unknown as the factory speedometer/odometer hasn’t worked since it came to live here. Engine is original to VIN, as is transfer case and rear axle. The front is a open knuckle 30 swap done by a previous owner and power steering was added, likely from a 73 to 77 CJ. Vehicle is in great shape, wouldn’t take much to make it a restoration. ”
