About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

This thing is awesome to drive! I’m only selling to buy my daughter a car. I have brand new warn hubs that I haven’t put on, along with the front driveshaft. If I get to them, I will put them on. Have a heater but haven’t put it back in yet either. I also have all the grab handles, shovel and axle holders to make it look like military. May take a partial trade on a nice compact car.”

“Jeep cj3b willys, this has the larger f head motor, been stored in barn for at least the last 25 years, I have no time to work on it. I have not tried to start it and would not try until fuel system is cleaned out. I got this from my grandfather who used it for years on the farm for hauling wood. Parked it after he had more wood then he could use, and never needed to use it again”
“Old jeep Willys with no title so unsure of year. Has new starter and a few other parts. Carb is messed up and jeep won’t run right. Clutch is also not working but I think that’s just a broken return spring. This is a project off road toy only.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $5500. Andy pointed out that this one had an Esslingen rebuild tag:
ORIGINAL POST:
“Original 1944 Ford Gpw willys jeep. Needs restore. Has a WWII 1942 Gpw engine. The frame is a 1944 Gpw. parked since 1992 non op. Still has oil and water in the jeep. Had a blown head gasket when parked. Motor turns over by hand easily.”
“We have an old Willys Jeep 4×4 with a plow. This is very old (possibly 1960 but not entirely sure). It needs lots of love. It still runs (with a jump at this time) and it has a plow attached to it. Not for road use at this time. It is old and it is rough but like I said, the engine still runs. My dad used this to plow his yard until this year. You will have to haul it off yourself. Make an offer.”
“1949 Willys Jeep for sale, needs finished up. has new transmission and clutch, reman head, new distributor and starter, its not far from being done but I don’t have time to finish and have to have surgery so its time to let someone else take over. this jeep has a fiberglass tub so it will never rust. frame is in great condition not rusty. need to see in person.”
“I have for sale a 1949 Willys CJ3A. Runs, drives, 4-wheel drive good. Original 6V system with the L-head engine. Must see and drive. Perfect for the person that would like to complete the project or drive as is. Great hunting, farm vehicle or for leisurely drives. I have worked on this for the past 2 years starting from the ground up. Had lots of fun with it, just no longer interested in finishing it. Asking $3400.00. Text and I can send video of it being drove. Thanks”
