Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. (10/17/2016) “Awesome Jeep with a lot done to it. Chevy 327 V8 engine with a Holley spread bore 4 barrel carb, Muncie 4 speed transmission, Dana 18 transfer case. Factory hard top with doors. I have a new soft top for it as well. Dual exhaust. Spring over axle conversion. Front springs shackle reversal. Updated power steering, power brakes and tilt steering column. 15 gallon CJ fuel tank mounted under the body in the rear between the frame rails. The original fuel tank under driver’s seat has been removed. Could be replaced, I don’t like sitting on it. 33×12.5 tires. New: drive shafts, water pump, radiator, battery, shocks and steering damper.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $6900.

“Rebuilt flat head L226 engine, currently has 2,600 miles.
3 speed transmission has new seals, clutch, pressure plate, throw out bearing.
New seals in rear axle and rear wheel bearings. All new brakes and drums has a new master cylinder.
New brake lines. New fuel lines.
New tires and rims with matching spare.
New shocks and radiator, hoses and belts, battery and speedometer.
New vacuum windshield wiper motor.
New 12 volt patronymics ignition.
New fuel tank and fuel pumps.
4 New leaf springs.
This vehicle has been converted from 6 volt to 12 volt.
Rebuilt steering gear box. New door panels. New tie rod ends, tie rod and drag link. Re- upholstered seats. Added a new rear heater.
New universal joints in the front and rear drive shaft. All windows but 3 will need to be replaced and all need rubbers. Needs a headliner.
Has small amount of rust on right rear outside quarter panel.
NO TRADES AND ONLY SERIOUS INQUIRIES.”
