Maury spotted this silver anniversary CJ-5.
“1979 Jeep CJ-5 SA: This extremely rare Jeep is an incredible investment opportunity. In the second half of 1979 Jeep built less than 1000 of the CJ 5 Silver Anniversary editions. There are an estimated 40 still in existence today with any chance of being restored. Less than 10 with the original motor and transmission and no rust! That makes this one of only 10 left in the world. I encourage you to do some research yourself into the collectibility of this rare vehicle. They will only go up in value!
It is “Car Show Clean” and ready to drive across country. Just add gas and enjoy. With 54,000 original miles this Jeep does well on the road, never sees mud and drives like a dream. It was garage kept for most of its life and only driven around town. The original front seats were replaced with aftermarket along with the steering wheel and shift knob. The original Silver Anniversary emblem is still on the glove compartment door and the VIN can be verified.”
Looks like there’s value here. Has an updated engine.
“1948 jeep willys truck runs and drives will need work to be Road worthy I have all the appropriate paperwork to register 2500 best offer will trade for a motocross bike in good condition preferably a four stroke”
Glenn shared this rare half-cabbed Jeepster Commando.
“This Willys Jeepster is the 4X4 short bed clad in red and white. It has a Meyers 6′ plow – we bought it for plowing smaller areas. Seats presentable with brown leatherette. Body has some rust out – front and rear quarters and other areas. Previous owner was a mechanic who replaced original engine with a GM V6 and claimed engine was rebuilt. Jeep runs and drives. Auto transmission works and Meyers plow works good. A desirable little truck that would need panel repairs or drive as is.”
Needs to be finished.
“I have a Willys cj2a that needs finished. I have almost all new parts for it. I just don’t have time to finish it. Brand new tires and rims, water pump, fuel pump, master cylinder, all new guages. Floor has been replaced and welded. The only thing I think it needs is seats. I don’t have the title, but I checked the vin number it will be no problem to get a title.”
Not much of the original jeep left.
“I need to get rid of my steel bodied, 1944 Ford Jeep. I originally got it as a project vehicle for rock crawling. When I bought it, it was a hunting rig. It has a Ford 289 V8, adapted to the original 3 speed transmission. There’s virtually no rust. Has stout front and rear bumpers and a tow bar. It’s a perfect vehicle to build exactly how you want it for. Very flexible on price. I am also selling a 3 speed military transmission with transfer case. Make offer(s).”
UPDATE: Price dropped to $1800.
(04/08/2017) It’s a project.
“Up for sale is a project 1956 Willys panel truck. Have lost interest in it. I started to tear this down and have most of the parts that came with it. Asking $2200 obo. No title only bill of sale. Someone come get this Unique and rare truck”
