About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

“Early 50’s Willys Jeep M-38 project
I am not going to be able to finish this Jeep as I had hoped so I am selling it.
It has a 231 v-6 engine that has the HEI ignition. I have run the engine with pouring fuel down the carb and jumper wires, it sounded good and started right up.
It has a T-14 3 speed trans mission, and a single lever M-18 transfercase. the engine- trans assembly probably all came from a 70’s jeep.
It has a complete Rancho suspension, Rancho shocks and springs with about 2” lift and heavy duty Con-Ferr shackles
It has the one piece tie rod modification for better steering
Needs some work. It’s #20399. Includes other items.
“Early 1946 CJ2A original tub with original Data plates and clear title cj2a20399 the tub does need a lot of work and the gusset number is there and correct for that vin number was a column shift jeep does have the axe and shovel indent in driver side. Does come with 4 16″ solid original wheels that are 4.5 inches wide. There are a lot of original parts that are still really good shape on this body”
“I have an running 1940’s Jeep Willys for sale it has an original flat head 4 cylinder hurricane engine and it runs. But… there is no title, And the break linkage is broken other than that along with some body issues due to age its ready to roll.”
“Hello, I’m selling my1982 right hand drive Am General Dj5 jeep. I used it to carry mail last year and it’s set up with a trey already. The tags are current but need to be renewed. They expire on the 15th of this month. It did run and drove until just recently. It was shaking so we took off the drive line and noticed it was broken and needed to be replaced. It’s been sitting for a while but should still start up. I never looked for the part and just didn’t have the time to get it replaced. Ive since became a regular and no longer have use for it so. It’s a fun little jeep. Please let me know if you would like to come check it out or have any additional questions.”
