This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Another CJ-2A/CJ-5 body combo, but it does run.

(05/18/2016) Looks in good shape.
“Excellent condition jeep with no rust and all the accessories.
Clean and clear title in my name. Currently registered with antique plates.
Has data plates and original soft top. Blackout lights up front with fuel can on the back. Axe and shovel on the passenger side.
Makes a great show or parade car or for just driving around town.
The M38 was the military version of the CJ-3a. Please google the model for more information.

This photo was published in the Eugene Register Guard on February 10, 1944. Of the four men, three were form Eugene and one was from Prineville, Oregon.
This non jeep article was quite fascinating. It was published in the July 3, 1944, issue of the Milwaukee Journal.

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2600.
Needs some brake work, but looks like a good price.
“This is a Veep (Willy’s Kit) body mounted on a VW frame/driveline.
-It does have a soft top with doors
-The only major issue is the brakes need to be rebuilt (estimated cost $375 for parts)
-Body is in good condition, but there are some small areas of surface rust.
