UPDATE: Still Available. I didn’t appreciate the originality of this when I first posted it. Now that I own one, I can see just how much is there.

2-wheel drive
Column shift
Motor has been overhauled
Brakes have been done
Starter has been rebuilt
Includes 5 wheels with original trim rings and hubcaps (4 lug wheels, 15″)
Needs steering wheel and wiring harness (have the originals).
No seats, no top, no top bows.
Has the original Auto-Line Bulls-Eye headlight bulbs.
Radiator was done with a high-flow core, sufficient for a V-8.
This is the convertible model with non-ventilating windshield (original glass included)
Not the original color (original color unknown)
Will not respond to texts.

Seems like it is missing an oil filter.

“1947 cj2a. Runs and drives. New carb, gas tank lines and pump. Front brakes, master cylinder, wheel cylinders, shoes and lines. Water pump, thermostat, hoses. Too much to list. 12v system. Rewired new resister and alternator. Took the points out of the distributor and installed magnetic hot spark system to make it like a solid state distributor. Runs and drives. “selling my wwii British airborne trailer(Number 1 Mark II Lightweight 10-cwt Airborne Trailer). I can deliver for extra fee, I am within 3hr to Newark NJ docks for overseas shipping.
There are only five, yes 5 of these trailers in the USA(I know all the other owners)
Trades will be considered, firearms preferred. Was restored about 4-5yrs ago, some very minor holes, I didn’t want to re skin the entire trailer taking away from its originality. Brakes not assembled due to the fact that they had a tendency to actuate while in transit, with a possibility of locking up and possibly creating a accident situation.
A great trailer to complete their british airborne impression.

It’s got rear floaters. It just might have an MB/GPW chassis. Looks to have a replacement body.

“Too many projects too little time. Include second grill, and set of fenders. I believe the owner before me started restoring and didn’t get far. From what I can tell new front and rear axles. I have signed not transferred title in hand. It’s at my business but is personally for sale. Obviously some rust but most are just light surface, to my knowledge the pan is in good shape.
There is a 4 cylinder engine under the hood – but not running.’

Listed as a 1945 CJ-2A, it looks more like a 3A to me. It has a 3Aish front bumper and transfercase crossmember. It also has the later oil filter bracket.

“This is a great project Jeep. I own many jeeps and need to get a few irons out of the fire. Structurally sound! Transmission is good, Dana twin stick is good , axles all roll great as well. Motor is locked up. This would make a great present for the Jeep person in your life!”
