About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
That’s quite the cattle pusher on the front bumper.
“1946 Jerp Willys CJ2A
Transmission is bad and has been removed. It is still with the Jeep.
Engine ran when parked over ten years ago. Four Cylinder Go Devil.
No title. Email me with questions or to schedule a viewing.”
It’s an early ’47 based on the body tag and serial number (matching).
“1942 cj 2a jeep willys up for trade or sale. Looking for best offer or nice sport quads. Needs a battery, and maybe little wiring done to it to get it to run. A little restore was done on it 10+ years ago, Sat out in the weather for a few years. I picked it up from a buddy’s dad. Minimal surface rust but no bad spots at all. Motor turns over but has no spark. Needs a good home. Bill of sale only. Needs to be taken to WSP for a vin inspection to get title. I did most of the home work on that issue and it’s pretty simple.”
“1946 CJ 2-A Willys in great condition with a Co. title . This jeep has the original flat head 4 cylinder engine, three speed transmission and running gear. It has a Keonig hard top , a rare optional factory driver side heater, a engine heater, a tow bar, new bench seat upholstery , a 20 gallon gas tank. Two Army non directional spare tires on heavy duty mounts It has a new master brake cylinder, new coil , plugs , wires , etc.
It was running but now possibly needs a new timing chain to get her running again .
Finish her up and have a great original jeep! ”
Yes, we are joining the crowds in Phoenix for the most excellent 2016 FC-Roundup this year!! As always, the event takes place March 18-20th at Ybarra “Resort and Spa” Get all the details here: http://thefcconnection.com/2016_fc_roundup_march_18-20,2016.htm
We also plan to do a few other things while in the area:
1. We will check out the Goldfield Ghost Town this year.
2. We’ll be driving down to Tucson to visit the ASARCO (what’s left of the company anyway) Mineral Discovery Center and Mine Tour. Since my latest book is about the early history of the once giant smelting and refining company, it seemed like a good idea to go on one of their tours.
3. No trip to Phoenix would be complete without sharing a beer with “Joe in Mesa”.
