Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. John spotted this one. The seller notes he has a bunch of NOS parts in Southern California as well. The reference to parts in Cali coupled with this jeep in Phoenicia makes me wonder if this is one of Andy’s rigs, as I thought he mentioned he has parts in a trailer in California.

“1948 willys 283 sbc Borge Warner 4 speed ran when I parked it battery went dead and now has sat it does smoke when first start so motor will need a rebuild someday I had just put new tires on it before I parked it I have too many projects so now I am letting this one go”

“1949 Jeep with spare parts Does not run, no engine, springs, drive shafts, rolling jeep. Can be used as parts or to put back together, have Transmission and transfer case that can be rebuilt with newer synchros and small bearing kits included, not all new bearings are there. This Jeep is not put together. Pictures show it will roll, I have a Nevada Title that goes with it, but not in my name, it was signed by the previous owner. Some items will be removed and Jeep will be ready to load on a trailer to take after payment. Willing to take reasonable offers in person”
