This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “I have a nice cj-6 for sale. recent restoration. 429 ford big block out of a 1968 thunderbird with an edelbrock manifold, quadrajet carb, and a serpentine belt conversion. ZF5-42 5-speed manual transmission. Jeep dana 300 transfer case mated via advanced adapters. the rear axle is a dana 60 center section with GM 14-bolt hubs and axle shafts and GM disc breaks. The front end is a GM dana 44 8-lug with disc breaks. both axles have detroit lockers, 4.56 gears and are 60″ from wms to wms. the suspension is 2.5″ wrangler springs over axle and shackle reversal. rancho shocks all around. WFO traction bar in the rear. dual flow master mufflers. power steering and hydroboost braking. this beauty is rolling on 40×15.50r20 toyo mt tires. nice front bumper with warn winch. this is a really nice jeep. gets attention wherever it goes. has been over the rubicon trail twice without damage or problems”

“Odometer reads 60,417 miles, 3.7 liter, 226cu “Super Hurricane” Inline 6, 4 speed Borg Warner T-98, 4×4, mechanically sound, runs and drives, brakes work well, decent tires. This truck needs bodywork. Included with the sale area good roof, a pair of doors, N.O.S. tailgate, N.O.S. front fender flares, good used fender flares, 2 heater units, and other misc. small parts. “1952 WILLYS CJ3A , it has a 1.8L isuzu motor , trans and transfer case , fiberglass tub and fenders, newer d44 with a spool and one piece axles in the rear , and a stock front close knuckle , 538 gears, Four wheel disc brakes and 33 inch tires and a nine thousand pound winch , runs and drives about has been in storage for the last ten years so i’m sure it will need gone over.
