UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $5000.
The steering has been converted to a saginaw box. It’s mounted pretty high on the frame. A good picture from the front ought to give more info. Otherwise, it looks like a solid jeep.
“Good complete jeep for restoration back to military (several hundred dollars of parts included) or just fun CJ-5 type driver. Clean title. The jeep starts, runs and stops. Five brand new American made military non-directional tires on reconditioned rims (2 combat, 2 regular jeep). The engine has good even compression (taken 7/2013). See photo of parts included at purchase price. Carburetor needs to be replaced or rebuilt. No significant rust in the tub – good solid steel tub. Engine: Hurricane134 F head with T-90 transmission. “Rare 1959 FC 170 Willys Jeep Truck came from California. Rare to find in this condition! Very old! Red/ white Truck does come with the box. The box is in fair condition with some surface rust but no holes. The pictures show that this truck has rust just on drivers corner and small spot on very front of the cab! Project truck.
Started right up after first try. Runs a little rough but it does run. Decided not to take on this project on due to too many others. Purchased new U- Joints, new water pump, and a new alternator comes with the truck but these have not been replaced or installed! Has new electric fuel pump installed, new oil in the rear and in front ends. I have removed soft plugs, water pump and radiator off the truck but still have them.
Invested much more than starting price already. Shipping is buyers responsibility and buyer to pay all costs. Prefer local pick up!”
