This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “I am selling my 1947 Willys Jeep CJ2A. The jeep can sit for months and fire right up. Clear title. Several items have been replaced. Clutch, battery, fuel cell. The master cylinder does leak and will need replacing. The jeep is pretty solid for a 68 year old vehicle, does have some rust on the Hat Channel under the tub. ”

“1955 Korean War M38A1 Willy’s Jeep that is in excellent condition. I have receipts, work order, maintenance logs going back nearly 20 years. This jeep has had a lot of time, effort and money invested into it over the years including a full engine overhaul (at a cost of nearly 3.5K– nothing was skimped. Vehicle has approx 2700 miles since engine overhaul. I currently drive the jeep when weather permits in parades and military funerals. The paint is from Quantico U.S. Marine Base and is Marine Chemical Resistant paint approximately 8 years old. Every thing works on the jeep. Gages, horn, lights and has new spark plugs, wires, new radiator and has a very hard to find military antenna. This is a 24 volt system that has 2 new military batteries. This is not a frame off restoration but everything else is 100 percent. All new canvas on seats and top. There is an AM/FM/CD radio
with 9″ speakers mounted in two ammo cans in the rear of the jeep. Five new military tires and tubes”

This May 1942 Junior Scholastic magazine had a Ford GP on the cover.
“Junior Scholastic magazine for school kids. Week of April 27-May 2 1942 issue.
16 pages. A little larger than 8 inches x 11 inches.
World War II era article about the modern mechanized cavalry charging into battle on motorized vehicles, motorcycles (like the Harley-Davidson WLA), and even horses still.
Complete. Clean pages. No water damage. No creases. Normal amount of age-browning to the paper. Considering the newspaper-quality wartime paper used, this magazine is in remarkably nice condition after 70 plus years. There’s some minimal red marking here and there. The delicate folded, stapled-binding has a small amount of separation along the top and bottom edges, but is holding together well.”
Probably not many of these left in the world.
“This auction is for a vintage wooden Jeep puzzle/toy. It comes in its original box with a parts diagram. Made in Japan, probably 1950s or 60s. In new condition, never played with. 5 1/2″ L x 2 1/2″ W x 2 3/4″ H.”
