1947 CJ-2A Throckmorton, TX $3500

• CATEGORIES: CJ-2A This site contains affiliate links for which I may be compensated.

UPDATE: Price dropped to $3900.

“Cool little Jeep! 1947 Flat Fender Willys, runs and drives! This would be a great candidate for a restoration, but it is functional as-is. This would be a much cheaper option if you wanted to use it in the place of a UTV, (Polaris Ranger, Kawasaki Mule, Kubota, etc.), but it also has a clear TX title so that it can be registered to drive legally on the pavement as well. Has new brake wheel cylinders all the way around, as well as a new alternator (12 volt). Feel free to call or text if you have any other questions. I prefer cash sales, but if you have something to trade of similar value, give me a shout, the worst I can do is say no. This Jeep is available as long as this posting is active.”

1945 MB Converse, TX $3000

• CATEGORIES: MB This site contains affiliate links for which I may be compensated.

UPDATE: Price dropped to $3000

(10/01/2015) It’s a project.

“1945 Overland Willys Jeep, 9 louver grill, no tailgate. Engine has been started in last 10 years, runs rough. Reconstructed WWII frame (welded front end from an MB jeep), Oregon VIN, Virginia Title.

Includes canvas cover and windshield (not pictured) and all you see in the photos. Most all original parts remain and are in the back of the Jeep. The black&white pic is from approx 2004 before the jeep was disassembled for this project and is included for reference only.

This was a restoration project that was started and is unfinished. At some point painted red, but the original military green paint is under it. This has been in my family since 1995.

This Jeep is not in running condition. AS-IS, WHERE IS.”

Friday March 18th: The Bullion Plaza Cultural Center & Museum

<– Day 9 – Thursday March 17th: Crowded Backroads & Exploding Beer Glasses | Day 11 – Saturday March 2016 FC Roundup Report –>

Today we didn’t do a whole lot, which meant we got some rest. The one thing we did do, visit the Bullion Plaza Cultural Center & Museum, turned into a great opportunity. The museum, located in Miami, Arizona, celebrates the minerals, mines, and culture of the area. It was much larger than I thought it would be with some good exhibits.

The most interesting part of the museum for us was that we met the curator, Thomas Foster, who was very excited to hear about SLAG. So, I let him browse through my copy. He was so excited about the concept and its references to Arizona history, that he wants me to “get the damn thing finished ” so he could read it. And, he wants us to return this fall to give a presentation (which could mean more book sales). So, our one stop today was a good one 🙂

1962 FC-150 Rockwall, TX **SOLD**

• CATEGORIES: FC150-FC170-M677 This site contains affiliate links for which I may be compensated.

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was on eBay.

Glenn spotted this jeep. Lots of pics and info on eBay.

“This particular early model year ’62 Jeep FC-150 4×4 truck was found in dry storage in the corner of a Texas barn by the current owner. It was last registered on the street in 1998 after some mechanical restoration efforts by the previous owner(Hurricane-4 Engine Rebuild) . Today it runs out strong and drives down the road, goes through the gears and is an overall solid and enjoyable FC-150 as is or could be restored to the level of your choosing. It has been lightly used around the farm and stored in a nice concrete floor shop here at the Texas owner’s private residence.”

1961 Wagon Shadle Park, WA $6000

• CATEGORIES: Willys Wagons This site contains affiliate links for which I may be compensated.

Looks in good shape.

“1961 Willys wagon, original flat head inline six called the “super hurricane” This rig is mostly all original and runs really good. Has a PTO winch that works just fine. Everything works on this Willys.
I would like to trade for a 1st generation Isuzu Trooper (the square ones) but it’s gotta be a pretty nice one. Open to trades for an interesting classic car like a Nash or something cool and od. Or cash works too. ”
