Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. The tranny is stuck in neutral.
“1953 jeep cj3a it has a chevy v8, a radio but no speakers brand new alternator. it has a 3 speed dana 44 in the rear and dana 30 in the front. Trans is stuck in neutral but it still turns on. its good for offroading i was gonna go all out on it but i need money to pay for school 3500 or 2000 without engine text ”

“Here are two jeepsters for sale as a package deal one is rare the other is not so much. y]the yellow one is the cammando style and not so rare. the green one has the continantal spare tire kit and is more rare. they were built in the late 60s around 68-69 or so. they both ran and wore parked years ago the motors are not frozen. both need parts. the yellow one is very rusty but solid frame. the green one has never been left out but still needs lots of inside and out work.”

“1954 Willy’s wagon given to me from fathers collection. Sat 20 yrs cleaned old gas out put new gas in and fired right up. Runs shortly but won’t stay running. After 20yrs a serious tune up is needed. I have not messed with it much. Has Chevy v8. All latches and doors work. Exterior is in good cond. One smaller window on side is cracked. No rust. Interior needs to be re done. Here’s the d.m.v deal…I went to DMV it is out of the system they gave me all needed paperwork to re register when ready. Buyer will be responsible for this.obviously it will need to be towed .. Any”

Seller is listing as a Korea jeep, but clearly is a CJ-3A.

“This is a 1954 near mint condition M38A1 Willys Jeep. This is the waterproof model of the Willys Jeep. It is in fantastic condition and except for a few upgrades and/or repairs that have been done over the years it is in original condition. For instance – New canvas top, starter, brake light on the back, overdrive was installed ( a $2,000+ addition), seat belts added etc.
This is the military 24 volt system. Has black-out lights, waterproof screw-on wires, rear canvas seat, also installed a hidden kill-switch so it can be parked in public. Original mileage 19,632”
