Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1961 Willys Jeep CJ3B PROJECT
Jeep was parked at a house that burned the front drivers corner was damaged, the paint, wiring , tire and top were all damaged.
The engine is an “F” Head 134 ci. 4 cylinder – I did a compression test and got 110 psi on all cylinders , I tried to start the engine and the engine has spark but the starter bendix failed, the bendix is available on ebay for about $12, the other problem is the flywheel gear teeth are chewed up ,the gear is flip -able but the engine or transmission needs to be removed to do it.
