Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “Hi all, I am selling my 1944 Willys MB United States Marine Core Jeep. This is an MZ-2 model, which out of 600,000 MB’s produced, only 210 were MZ-2 radio jeeps. It has the original tub and frame, but a later CJ-2A engine that is free turning (am trying to get running).
Will trade for a dodge power wagon (1946-1968) or Willys FC-150 or FC-170.
Includes original and matching tub and frame, original axles, original MZ-2 windshield, original hood, original pintle hook, original transmission and transfer case, 3 combat wheels, 1 CJ wheel, and a later CJ-2A motor that is free spinning. It has the frame tag”

(12/02/2015) Looks solid, but those steps have been redone and the drain hole filled.

(08/29/2015) It runs.
“This is a great deal for legendary Jeep that can climb a tree. This 1954 CJ3B has had the electric system changed from 6v to 12v with an alternator, recently rebuilt transmission. It does have a couple of rough spots, mainly on the hood. Also with the low gear ratio it’s top speed is around 40-45mph. Don’t let this sweetheart get past you.”

Here’s a cool FC item.
“Kaiser jeep willys jeep forward control. This is a very rare whirl away ashtray jeep dealer promotion item. Purchased from estate of a man who owned a jeep dealership for many years. It is a chrome ashtray with a jeep fc on top. I have done a lot of research and only found one similar which had a cj3b on it. These were only sold to dealerships. And the fc was only made for a few years. You may never see another one. Looks like it will shine up nice . I lest the dirt and grime on it. A bit of rust where the ashes sat. Ask questions look photos over well.”

Looks nice on the outside. Needs a little interior work.
