UPDATE: Mystery solved. I found a couple brochures about this top. They were published in a 1947ish Willys Overland Equipment Book (thanks to Jon for letting me scan that particular folder). The suicide doors were original to this top. Examples of The Boston Top below:
he first two photos show Spencer Landers’ top on two different jeeps.
Close up of the corners.
These photos show more examples of the top:
Has some diamond plating in the cargo area and some stainless over the engine.

(11/26/2014) The V6 in this jeep isn’t original. Some items don’t work. Overall appears solid.

“-1954 Jeep Willys
-Rebuilt Dauntless 225 V6, believed to be the original motor
-Has est 6400 miles on rebuild (past owner kept written record)
-Rebuilt original manual trans, 6400 miles on trans
-Odom reads 6600 miles as these are the resto miles on the entire rig with exception of the motor and trans and they have 6400
-Has been sitting last 12 months, we clean old gas, carb, and changed a few minor parts to make it run well
-This drives like a 1954 CJ of it’s day
Looks solidly refurbished, but not fully restored.
“This is a classic 1946 Jeep Willys that had been fully restored. The original motor has been rebuilt, and it has been converted to a 12v system.”
