This rare Blue Star top is missing it’s rear lift door.

It’s a good project for someone wanting a low riding jeep.
“Like to trade a 1952 willys cj3 rat rod project. Has Model A front drop axle and transverse spring with hairpin radius rods. Rear is Ford 9″ with triangulated 4 link. Don’t have a motor or trans. Home built frame from 3/16″ 2×3 tubing. Looking for something in the 50’s coupe, wagon or open to other cars. Must have clear title and not rusted completely out.”

“Restored 1946 Jeep Willys CJ-2A. Used very little since restoration, everything including the body has been powder coat painted. Runs great, mechanically sound, 4 cylinder gas engine, 4×4, 3 speed manual transmission, converted to 12 volt. VIN # 32792. Asking 10,000 OBO. Not interested in any trades, cash only. ”

Does it need wheels? Appears to have a DJ-3A body on it.

The photo below appeared in a 1958 article from the Spokesman-Review. The article below comes from a November 29, 1956 article in the Toledo Blade that announced the FC’s introduction.

“1968 Jeep cj6, this is the longer one, very rare. Has a 350 and auto trans in it. restored, painted and engine conversion about 10 years ago”
The Red 1961 FC-170 is priced at $2800. The White FC next to it is $1800. An FC-150 (not shown) might also be for sale.
“1961 forward control (the red one) …too many projects – not enough time… I bought this to restore as the original Green Bay & Western Railroad service jeep that it is .Restoration was started, the rusty metal was removed from the cab and the bed was sandblasted and primed but needs the rust cut out. it runs but has no brakes. Both have clear titles. The white one is all original untouched. might sell for $1800, it also runs and drives needs brake work also. Have an fc 150 (short bed 1/2 ton) for parts. Buddy, my partner (the dog) is 12 years old and not for sale….thanks, Chris….NOTE, the dated pics are of the white jeep.”
