About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
This might be worth a look. Been sitting along time.

Gotta love the ‘disc’ brake on the driveshaft as the stopping power!
“CJ2A Willys Jeep for sale. $1600 OBO. It is a 1946/7. Frame has been completely replaced with a custom frame. Brakes are via disk brake on drive shaft. I have lapped the valves and adjusted. New points, condenser plugs and coil. Carb has been cleaned but probably needs some adjusting. It still misses out some. There is rust on body, see pictures. No Title.
This would make a great hunting or ranch jeep.”
“I have a 1947 willys for sale. the motor turns over and I had it running briefly. Trans shifts as well as the transfer. This jeep is very very rough. Lots of rust. Excellent for parts! still has all 4 16in rims, oil bath air cleaner, grille is in very nice shape.I do have the vin tag on the frame of the jeep and I have the title in hand!! I do not need any help selling my vehicle. Thank you”
(01/18/2014) I don’t often see a Capstan Winch on a CJ-5.
“Up for sale is a 1959 Willys Cj-5 with a rare Braden J-2 Capstan winch. The jeep runs and drives great but the brakes are inop. Trans/t-case are in working order. The engine starts right up and runs great with the exception of the exhaust needing to be replaced. The Capstan winch is complete and operates smoothly. The winch is correct for a WWII Willys Mb or Ford Gpw and would look great on your restoration. It can also be left on the Jeep like it is currently for that oopsy when you get stuck on the trail. I have a clear Michigan title. I also have many other Willys Jeeps and parts. E-mails will not be responded to. Please call (906) two eight seven fourteen hundred”

MONDAY: Pasco to WinthropWe left Pasco at noon on Monday the 28th. It was already 100 degrees. It’s a good thing the jeep has air-conditioning! There was nothing particularly interesting (or I should say it’s a drive I’ve done often enough to be bored with it) until we reached Dry Falls State Park, which once was the site of the largest waterfall in the world. As you can see from the pics, the view is pretty good. They had some pretty good looking food, too. We had ice-cream. Continue reading →
