Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. The wagon’s serial number is 83086 and the engine number is R3523104 … it looks like the jeep got a rebuilt engine at some point.

“I will address current condition, this jeep has no title, you can get in lieu of bond for it, its a really easy process, i will provide a bill of sale which you will need for that process, its all but road worthy, needs new master cylinder, brakes bled etc.. it has a new battery, it will start and run, clutch works, goes into gear, t case shifts in and out of gear, this is still a project, you cannot drive it home, no i do not know how fast it goes, it has the 4 cylinder engine, twin stick Dana 18, offset rear end, the gas tank is clean, the engine runs off of the mechanical fuel pump that is on the engine, it does steer, most of the lights work, yes it has rust, show me any old jeep or vehicle that does not have rust, the price is 1500, that price is firm, would be a cool mountain rig, kid/parent project, please serious inquiries only,”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Unclear how much value is here. It’s got one of the sedan roofs atop it. No description provided.
This seems to be a 1946 and has the early windshield and a column shifter, so likely it’s a VEC. However, it lacks indents. I can’t tell if it has full floating rear hubs or not.

“Hi there, I’m looking for a new and loving home for my Grandfather’s 1947 Willys CJ2A. He was the second owner and was in the middle of having a full restoration done on the truck before he passed away, and I unfortunately do not have the time to show it the love it deserves.
The body is straight, there are no dents, there is no rust, and it has a brand new paint job in a light metallic blue. If you are familiar with Willys you may notice that he updated the windshield frame the the later model to give it a rounder overall look. The engine, transmission, transfer case, and differentials were rebuilt and are installed in the truck, the only thing not installed is the front driveshaft.
I have two sets of doors to go with the jeep and a handful of the original parts to help put it back together. And it has a clean title. I’m asking $15,000 OBO, I know from the receipts I found he has much more than that into it. Trades welcome. I hope to find it a great new home.”
