This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. (06/19/2015) “So i have a 1947 jeep willys cj2a has stock running gear has been upgraded to a 12v system it runs and drives sitting on 33 inch tires just bought guages trying to figure out how to wire them in. It is a project but it runs drives and is registered currently i dont really want to sell this jeep it is my project but hard times we all understand i will not sell for a low offer i know what orginal parts are worth these days just seeing if i can get any real offers”

“I am selling my 1948 Willys CJ2A. It is a project vehicle. This is the most fun vehicle I have ever driven.
It has been sitting a while in the garage and I haven’t had any time to putz with it, so it doesn’t start right now. That’s the usual story though. Normally it is a little starter fluid, charge battery, wiggle some ignition wires and she does. Needs new exhaust, radiator, electrical, brakes ( master cyl) speedometer and parking brake cables and tires. I drained the gas tank a few years ago and it was orange so I imagine there is some rust in the tank. 2 wheel drive. No top.

“1951 Willys CJ3A for sale for $2750, I Need to sell because I don’t have time or money to finish it like it needs to be, Engine Runs great! only thing it needs is body work and put back together, I have a brand new floor pan for it, Engine and frame restored and painted, brakes rebuilt, rebuilt water pump, comes with a lot of extra parts, This jeep is mostly rust free! No Title, it has never been registered to be on the street it was used as a Farm vehicle all its life. Its easy to get a title. ”

1. M-38A1:
“It’s a 1954 Willys Army Jeep – M38A1.
Converted to 12 volt, heater added,
but rest of vehicle is authentic military.
Needs flat panel sheet metal work.
NO spare, NO title.
Got a front bumper, got a folding windshield.
Have a parts jeep, 1961 CJ-5
working on getting these parts and a title.
Will trade for other vehicles.
Consideration to veterans and veteran organizations.”
2. CJ-5:
“ew glass in windshield.
I’ll be stripping a 1961 CJ-5 Jeep tomorrow.
This Jeep had a snow plow, so the plow frame and the
hydraulics will be for sale.
The sheet metal, 2 front fenders, axles and frames will
be available.
think there are 3 extra rims and tires.
Buy the frame with trans, transfer case and axles for cheap.
Build your own rock crawler or off road ride.
Highschool shop class, Boy Scout troop project.
I’ll listen to any offer or trade….as cheap as $150.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $900.
No title or engine.
“1946 Willys CJ2A, with everything except the motor. Was set up for F Head Willys motor (therefore the hood scoop). Motor is available for $200 extra. Includes transmission. Tires are decent. Tub will need new floor pans and some work by the foot pads to make it solid, but is very restorable. No title, will provide bill of sale”
