About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

(05/02/2014) “1951 CJ3A Completely disassembled to bare frame. All parts new or rebuilt upon reassembly. Driven 50 miles since completion. Runs and drives like a 51 Willys. $6,000 OBO. Located in Albuquerque NM. Time to move on to a new project.”
Straight from our Jakarta bureau comes this video about a ‘Jiffy jeep’ team that could use a little more practice. However, what they lack in speed, they make up for in enthusiasm. The event was part of the Parjo 2015. If you are up on your Indonesian language skills, then you can read the story in full.
This article appeared in The Lima News, out of Lima, Ohio. Buy a bond and get a ride in a Jeep. That sounds like it was worth the price! I don’t see a year listed on the article.
This 1943 photo from the Denver Public Library’s digital collection shows that these elementary school children were busy. They helped purchase 4 jeeps! There are several other photos from the same event.
Mark listed this low mileage Commando at sellajeep.com.
“This beautiful 1967 Jeepster is owned by Just Jeepsters, the leading experts on Jeepsters. You will not find a better specimen of a Jeepster that is more original than this Jeepster. We have owned over 100 Jeepsters and this is the lowest mileage (6,073 miles) most original Jeepster we have ever seen. This Jeepster was originally owned by a Jeep dealership (Hoffer Morton) in Wisconsin, the dealership shutdown in 1980. The owner of the Jeep dealership lived next door to his business, thus the reason for the low millage. The Jeepster was sold last year by the widow when the dealership owner passed away. We have the entire history on this Jeepster and the documentation showing the mileage. This Jeepster has original date coded marked parts, even the original date coded bias ply tires are still on this Jeepster. Not only is this Jeepster the rare convertible, it has a white and blue color combination that we have only seen on one other Jeepster. This Jeepster is a museum piece and a true example of Jeep history. With the Just Jeepsters experience comes the guarantee of knowing you are dealing with experts on Jeepsters, we only specialize in Jeepsters and preserving their history. We provide our customers comfort of knowing exactly what kind of Jeepster they are getting. As far as condition, this Jeepster was well preserved in a heated garage by the original owner. The paint and interior are in excellent shape and original. It has a dealer installed pin stripe. Minor maintenance was performed once receiving but the original date coded parts have been kept. You will not find a more original Jeepster that has been guaranteed by a Jeepster business that only specializes in Jeepsters for over 25 years.”
“1950 Willys Jeep Wood Flat Bed Truck, (Missaukee County), electric converted to 12 Volt system (saved 6 volt generator), new windows and rubber seals, orig engine 300 miles on rebuild, transfer case needs work, also need paint job and minor body work. Max speed is about 43 MPH with a good tail wind.”
Nice looking restoration (though a few upgrades). Great ventilating windshield.
“Complete frame-off restoration in 2012 using an abundance of stainless hardware and body sealing. Resto work completed by experienced professionals back to original specifications except for upgrade to 1966 Dauntless V-6 engine with electronic ignition for reliable starting and operation. The CJ-6 is identical to the CJ-5 but has an additional 20″ in length added to the wheel base. This makes a HUGE improvement in handling stability and ride. Includes optional split windshield. No top or doors, perfect for FL driving.”
