About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“Up for sale is a 1946 Jeep Willy’s CJ2-A. Restored with original engine, new seats, powder coated parts, Co-Op tires with powder coated rims, converted to 12 Volt system, and runs great. Engine starts right off and has no problems running!
Asking 12,000 dollars for it OBO”
Rich spotted this FC with what appears to be a Utility Bed in the Bluray version of the Man of Steel Trailer. I looked through a couple trailers on youtube, without success.
Based on the ad, the armed forces were using Tenite widely by 1942. In this case, the ad announces the use of the plastic as steering wheels for jeeps.
Here’s a June 19th, 1943, photo issued by the Department of Information, Commonwealth of Australia, that shows a jeep going across the river on a pontoon ferry.
“I have a willys cj3b for sale for my dad. No title . Has been used for a woods jeep for years and hasn’t been run in several years. Motor is believed to seized up, all parts are there. Body is complete but rusty, tires and wheels have been changed since pictures were taken and it will roll around easily now. Once again it is being sold as is non running and needs to be trailered. Would also consider straight trade for a three point five foot disc for tractor.”
“It’s completely upgraded throughout and as reliable as any daily driver while still staying true to the original.
Springs are upgraded to allow the Willys to purr at 80 mph down the freeway without any wobble, nice and tight. You will never see a flattie roll as stable as this.
Will also tackle any off-road situation with zeal. . .
Includes an awesome child seat in the back.
Sits on 35” BFG MTs with few miles on them and also comes with a full roll cage.
Has a full spare in the back on a swing-away bumper system that includes a spare hub, along with Hi-Lift jack and 5-gallon gas can.
Engine is a nice robust Chevy 305 with a Ford T-18 solid transmission with an awesome crawler first gear. Dual mufflers are Magnaflow and also features headers. New 10-gallon plastic gas tank as well. The engine purrs perfectly! Continue reading →
Seller would prefer to see this restored rather than parted.
“I have a Jeep FC 150 for sale. This vehicle is rough but is restorable. The bed needs to be scrapped however the cab can be used. The rust damage on the cab is mostly limited to the lower corners which should be a reasonable repair. The engine and drive train is original and consists of the F134 Hurricane Inline 4, T90 Transmission and Dana 18 TCase. I have a lot of requests for people wanting parts however I would prefer to see it restored.
I respond to emails and texts quickly.”
“1957 Willys Jeep in real good original condition. This jeep has its original Willys F134 overhead value Hurricane 4 cyl 75hp engine, it does not smoke. 4×4, hi and low work all work. It has a fairly new soft top with full soft doors for side and rear. Tires are in excellent condition and are over sized 8ply. Everything works as it should for its age. Great jeep for farm or ranch but would also make great restoration project to take to next level. ”
