This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1964 CJ-3B Jeep for sale. Runs good! 4 wheel drive works good! Body in good solid condition for the age. Has a few dents. No rust! Starts and drives good. Smokes a little! Been used on a farm for last 12 yrs.Please call for more info. Thanks!”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $7000.
Has had a few changes, but mostly stock.
“Desert Jeep. Mostly original. New electrical. Replaced generator with alternator. New drum brakes. About all that’s left to do is paint it. There are some minor chips and dings, but no major structural damage. I really enjoyed fixing it up and driving it around town, but I need room in the garage. The spare tire bracket is welded to the roll bar, so no stress on the back quarter panel. Yes, that’s a oogah horn in the photo; I still have the original horn. It just doesn’t sound as cool….”

Looks solid, but not everything works. For example, the parking brake is missing.

(10/04/2013) “1946 Willys -Overland CJ2A, 4.3 Chevy V6, Throttle Body fuel injection, SM465 transmission, Saturn overdrive, Dana Model 30 front, Open knuckle, Disc brakes, Saginaw manual steering box, Dana 44 rear, 5:38 gears, 26 gallon custom built fuel tank, fully powder coated boxed frame, custom built powder coated roll cage, completely rewired, new cloth top, aluminum A.R.E. rims, 34 inch new mud and snow tires, Custom roof rack (not shown in photos), custom luggage rack, 4 point Simpson safety harness, painted in black spray-on bed liner, approximately 500 miles on car since rebuild, call Jim”

“1952 Willy’s Jeep 4×4, 3-speed manual transmission, late 50’s GM V6 motor (runs great). This very COOL indestructible classic piece of machinery will make one heck of a yard truck or a great running restoration project. No title (lost) but if you want a title it can be done. “

New radiator was $300 and Tires were $200 not long ago.
This Jeep had a V8-304 and three speed manual and seemed to run good before it clunked out..:D”

(01/28/2014) It runs and drives. It looks great on the outside, but the interior could use some cleaning.
“I have a classic Willys Wagon that I had shipped out here from Chico, Ca.. Was my Grandpas hunting wagon. Has Chevy inline 6(250), 700r4 od trans to stock spicer 18 tcase (4×4). This is setup for driving to the lease, titled and tagged. Has a winch( not hooked up), pick,shovel, gun racks…. I drive it around town, people love it. Driver door window glass is cracked, few dents and a little rust( not much). Pretty original, unmolested Jeep with some drivetrain upgrades. 5:38 axle gears, so 60 mph even with overdrive, but rides nice for a classic. Needs to be restored to be perfect or drive as is. Only interested in trades right now, NOT for sale. 72 or older Chevy or Gmc truck, Camaro, Chevelle roller project, other Jeeps, lowered rides like Silverado… What ya got? Lookin’ around 6 grand for trade.”
