This photo was from the May 1955 issue of Willys News. At first I thought these jeeps were involved in the annual jeep derby, but these are Sheriff’s Posse jeeps from Truth or Consequences, New Mexico.

Fully restored 1941 WILLYS MA Prototype Jeep in factory class condition. This Jeep is ready to drive and display. Approx. 900 miles since restoration and full drive train rebuild. “Chevy 350 conversion 4 bolt main, mild rv cam, double hump heads, Edelbrock carburetor, Ford T18 four speed manual transmission, front and rear axles are out of a 1972 scout. It has new paint about 70% tread on the tires vinyl interior and electric seats. I had this jeep appraised locally at 12000 but Reasonable offers considered please don’t low ball or contact me to help sell this and serious buyers only call or text for more info or to view in person.”
