About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

“Alas, I realize that I am never gonna do anything with “The General”. Time to let it go.
It runs well, and drives OK, but needs TLC. Worst issue at the moment is a hole in the top from a falling tree last winter, but rust in spots, and many layers of patches and paint. Artistic, almost. Mostly original except for a 12V conversion, and an aftermarket plastic gas tank. $1000, and you can drive it home. (If you’re not in a hurry to get there 🙂
Best way to reach me is via email, but you can try my home phone: 719 481-4262. Ignore the greeting, but do leave a message. Will post some fotos later today.
Here come fotos. That stack of steel wheels go with it, as do the doors. There is also a box of misc new stuff; some ignition parts, some seals and bearings, maybe a tie-rod end, and an electric fuel pump. And I neglected to get fotos of it, but there is a home-made spare tire/jerrycan rack for the back, and I think a couple cans for it. No guarantee on the jerrycans usefulness, if I can even find ’em. I also have a couple service manuals for it.

It’s been sitting, but still might not be a bad price.
“This is a 1952 Willys Jeep. I’m listing this for my dad. It has been sitting for at least 5 years. I know he put new leaf springs on it a few years ago. It has Warn front locking hubs. It also has a rare full aluminum hard top. We have the original front windshield. I believe it to have a 67 Ford 200 cid straight 6. $1700 obo. Call or text. Text is best. If you call please leave a message.”
“1949 Willis Jeep Pickup for sale or trade asking $4500 OBO. This jeep is on a 1994 Chevy S 10 Blazer chassis. It has a Vortec V 6 and auto trans. It’s not finished. It runs but runs rough. Probably throttle adjustment. This truck will make some one a nice little cruiser. Most of the interior is finished, seat not attached. It has a tilt steering, I’ve just lost interest in it . I have a lot info on the jeep. Ed – 682-551-7697 please no texts.”
“1948 CJ-2A Willy’s Jeep has V6 Buick engine. This jeep is sweet. Come take it for a drive. You can see the condition it’s in from the pictures. Call me with any questions – Mike Hardgrove ”
(12/05/2012) This top is homemade with soft top and hard sides. Looks interesting.
“1961 Jeep (Willys), Unique and hard to find CJ 6, 4 cylinder F-head, 3 speed transmission, 2 wheel-4 wheel high and 4 wheel low transfer case which has been partially rebuilt, various newer steering parts, newer lock-out hubs, newer springs (all), newer windshield wiper motor (driver side, passenger side is manual), newer windshield wipers, body is in rough shape, running gear is in very good condition, the top is homemade metal sides, back and doors (removable) are in good condition-the vinyl top (which is removable via snaps) will need to be replaced, the wiring under the dash has been redone, has newer OEM carb that now needs work and the original carb, 2 complete sets of tires/wheels; 1 set (5) of 7.00-15 Goodyear 6-ply bias-ply in good shape and 1 set (4) of Goodyear Wrangler radials not in good shape, the frame and cross members are all in very good condition. Light duty trailer hitch. AM radio. Master brake cylinder leaks, brake fluid needs to be checked prior to each drive. This is an old Jeep and due to the motor/transmission/gear ratios is not suitable for highway driving; its top speed is about 45 mph but will go about any place or climb about anything. Runs good.
The following items shown in the photos have been removed and do not go with the jeep: the top set of rear lights, gas can carrier (spare tire carrier will remain), CB radio and antenna for the CB, and the tow bar.”
