This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. I’ve heard of GIs grabbing distributer parts, but this is the first time I’ve seen a chain used as an anti-theft device.

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was on eBay.
“Up for auction is a Marx “NELLYBELLE” Willys JEEP. Very old vintage steel toy. About 11 x 5.5 inches. The hood was fastened with nuts and bolts, see pictures for condition.”
There’s no model inside this box to verify, but the picture on the cover looks like the experimental CJ-2 (not the CJ-2A). Note the military grill, the tool indents, not gas inlet, and the bow holders on the side. Anyone know if the photo matched the model?
“Great dusty old relic from our WW2 past. Empty Civilian jeep “ACE” model jeep box.The Willy’s Jeep evolved into the CJ Jeep “The Civilian Jeep” because of it’s popularity during WW2. The box is discolored from age, and has a bit of paper peeled from one end, please view all photos as they are part of the description. The interior of box is pretty sound structurally. The box measures 8 1/8″ long, 3 1/8″ wide and 1 9/16″ tall. This little survivor would fit in well with a WW2 Collection.”

This model is a project, in that there’s no instructions. I looked over the parts and it seems like there’s enough here to make most of the jeep. However, I don’t see passenger seat nor a driver’s side fender.

Polished wagon.
“A Beautiful and very Rare original condition Jeep, Willys Overland. The first of the Station Wagons and now SUV’s. This truck is in excellent condition, runs very strong and factory overdrive and heater. She has a new set of radial ires, withe walls, new hob caps and chrome rings. The engine and clutch has been rebuild at some earlier date. This Jeep is ready for anyones collection and every day enjoyment. You will get lots of lookers and interest wherever you take it.”

“1952 Willy’s Jeep Forest fire truck;
This is a unique fire truck in that it is a Willy’s Jeep AND easily fits in your garage! Former military unit (ex Marines, I believe). Runs and drives great- needs some TLC for the true Willy’s Jeep detail. It appears to be “shop built” either by military or a fire dept. as a fire pumper, but used a “Barton” front mount 500 gpm conversion kit of the day. The side compartments are ex-ammo boxes!
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $6900.

The passenger side entry appears altered.

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $3000. That kind of looks like a Porter & Reed top, but it is missing side windows.
“Forsale 1947 CJ2A Willys Jeep. Body and frame in good condition. Engine appears to be stuck. NO TITLE! Call only if serious. First person with cash takes the Jeep. It is located in Camp Point, IL.”

It doesn’t run, but does have an unusual hardtop.
