These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. This CJ-3A was recently painted with a bed liner. It used to look like this.
“I have a 49 willys with new paint raptor lining. It has a m151 water proof motor. New tires. Very fun. I’m asking 5000 $ firm ! I have a lot more in it. Let’s not wast no ones time thanks.”
The seller of this M-38A1 has a unique and special view of jeep history, hence the reason I have shared this ad. (As a precursor, there were a few CDN M-38s and M-38A1s built by Ford in Canada, but not that many — it is doubtful, but not impossible, that this was one.)
“This is an awesome vehicle that looks super cool and goes ANYWHERE! It is the true granddaddy of them all! M38A1 It is made by Ford Motor company as Willis could not keep up production during the war and Henry Ford cut a deal with our government to supply Jeeps to our troops utilizing the the Willis body design but with a more powerful engine, built in Canada (to not infringe on Willis patent…). The Willis had 60 hp while the Ford Jeep had a 75 hp Hurricane engine. The extra fifteen hp made a very big difference! This particular unit has over 2K custom welding (front bumper, roll bar, rear bumper and tail gate, reinforced floor boarding). It comes equipped with six ply Military tires (valued at $400 each= $1600). There are also custom accessories for the avid outdoorsman (remote controlled electric hoist rated at two thousand pounds, a remote controlled animal feeder, custom front carrier box and a custom tow bar). The accessories are a combined $1000 value. There are two adult jump seats in the cargo area to transport a combined four large adults. There is a gun rack and custom convertible top. Everything on this machine works! Extra large radiator. Military Jeep is rated three quarter ton (1500 lbs.) Have receipts for everything done over the last thirty years! Comes with extra parts and manuals. This thing not only looks good but “runs like a top”!!! These Jeeps were designated an International Historic Mechanical Engineering Landmark by the American Society of Mechanical Engineers.”
Listed at $2500, seller says he’ll take $2000. To title and some funky bumpers, but if the floors are solid this might be worth it.
“1963 CJ 5 Jeep. Runs and drives. Has working winch. Nice bumper guard. 4 wheel drive. Good tires. V6. Needs brakes. Top is removable. Gun rack in back window. Need it gone.
Askin $2500 first one here with at least $2000 its theirs. No title- bill of sale.”

– Not registered for many years, last running 10 years ago, owned since @2000, clean title
– Double gas tank under seats, plus new regular gas tank

– @1963 Studebaker 6-cylinder (runs hot despite oversize radiator)

– Modified grill to accommodate radiator moved up for longer engine/have stock radiator and grill
– New windshield (single rather than split)
– Tow bar on front

– Stock wheels, old tires (all hold air)
– 1 original service manual for CJ-2a to CJ6”
“Excellent condition, runs and shifts out great! New brakes, ignition box, cap, rotor, plugs and wires, Very straight body with only a tiny bit of rust. Clean inside, has some sort of late model seats installed before I got it. Very comfy and have been moved back for more leg room. I drive this jeep around here almost daily, and have driven it on a 4 hour round trip recently, with no issues. Everything works with the exception of the gas gauge. all lights, wipers, blower, speedo, even the dome light! drives as good as to be expected from a 40 year old jeep. Has a little slack in te steering, but very drivable. All glass is good, but windshield has a foggy “halo” around edges. Runs 55-60 with no problem. Has AMC 6cyl, and torque flite 727 trans. Asking $2500, but would trade for a decent 95 up S10 or 1998-2001 Nissan Frontier.”
This has likely been sitting since I was in high school. That’s a long time!
“Selling this for a friend… old original civilian jeep… hasn’t ran in a long time. Last tagged in ’82, has the original 4 cyl engine and trans. Only thing missing is the air breather and the rear drive shaft. Does have some typical rust in the floors and the rear bed area. But it’s all complete and ready for a restoration! We do have a title and are trying to locate it right now. If we can’t find it we’ll file for a lost title. $2200 obo. Email me for more info or questions.”
