About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
Craig forwarded this. It looks like a nice restoration.
“1958 Jeep FC-170 professionally restored from the frame up after we saved this Jeep from a pasture near Hermann, MO. Engine rebuilt with less than 150 miles.
New paint, rubber, seats and all around lumber on the bed. Runs and drives perfectly!
This was project for my Dad that never ran the Jeep much at all and wants to sell. I can email more pics if needed.”
I saw this and thought it might be a reworked jeep train. Though no tour jeep, I saw surprised to learn it was four wheel drive. Just imagine cruising up the Ouray, Colorado, in this beast … lol. And, you can get a pretty nice FC for $39,999 (asking price on eBay).

“My father passed away and we need extra cash for funeral costs. He bought this jeep from an old friend in minnesota and i know he had the title for it, but we can’t find it anywhere.
It will start up and drives just fine for a 1942, although the brakes need to be serviced. I believe there just needs to be brake fluid added as i remember him mentioning this to me.
This is not a ‘slat grille’.
the engine is original as is all the other parts. It needs some work obviously, but these are going for $15,000-20,000 in restored condition.”
“Origonal 1954 M38-A1 mostly stock . Has been converted to 12 volt . Stock engine and running gear . I have all old stock parts to go with it (lights , generator , fuel tank , ect.) . These stock one are getting harder and harder to find . Send me an email if you are interested.”
“This is a new very correct and high quality pair of reproduction thumb screws. These are for mounting the windshield to the cowl brackets. THese have the correct long sholders so the main windshield frame can pivot freeley up and down. These are cast iron just like the originals. These were originally used on the MB and GPW WWII jeeps but will fit the CJ2A, CJ3A, Cj3B, and M38 as well. Excellent items for your jeep restoration. QTM”
“Original T84 Transmission, Bell housing and transfer case. Very good take out condition from this 1943 Willys MZ-1, MB radio jeep. Still USMC Forest Green! Tim.”
(09/09/2012) Except the strange contraption on the front bumper this looks pretty stock. Of course, the paint scheme is odd.
“Old Willys Jeep. “L” head, 4-134 “Go Devil” engine rebuilt in the 1960s. Carter WO carb rebuilt last year. Frame is good, drive train is good. Body is solid but rough. New tires. Needs new springs all round. Comes with 4 extra wheels, homemade cloth top, and draw bar to tow it behind your vehicle. This Jeep would make a great restoration project or a hunting Jeep for running the woods.”
“A 49 Willys Jeepster with a early 283 chevy that turns freely auto transmission. Has seat frames and side curtain and 99% of trim. A good project and amazing wen completed. Bill of Sale only. In Aptos. Can deliver if necessary.”
I have a few more updates to do, but the Internet has
ceased functioning for the time being, so I am going to bed.
However, I thought I would share my find-of-the-day with you. It is
a jeep light/lamp that I found at a local good will. I put a hot
wheel on top for comparison.
“For sale: 1940’s jeep willys parts I have the complete jeep just let me know what you need and I will let you know. I have a complete rolling chassis with motor that runs. all of the body work is shot the grill may be salvageable but that’s it. I have two front fenders that are extra that are in good condition. the jeep also has a homemade plow on the front. the plow itself is not homemade but the mount and the lift are. the lift is a manual hydraulic lift that you pump by hand between the seats. I tried it and it works. I did put a new 12 volt coil on it and a distributor cap and it started up. the carb needs tuned to run correctly but it will run and you can hear it if you want. I was going to use it as a woods beater with out the body but I do not have the time to mess with it. I will sell individual parts or whole but i have no title. I m asking $500.00 for all or we can discuss price on the parts you need. please no low ball offers for the whole thing I can take it to the scrap yard for not much less than what im asking. call: four12-five82-two318”
