1942 Slat Grille MB/GPW Lakeway, TX **SOLD**

• CATEGORIES: GPW (Ford MB), MB • TAGS: This site contains affiliate links for which I may be compensated.

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was listed at $9500.

(12/13/2013) This is a mix of parts, but looks nice.

“This is actually a 1942 Ford GPW Jeep with a MB Willys Slat Grill and engine. Strangely enough, the original owner saw the slat grill and had it titled as a Willys, but the frame serial number is a `42 Ford. It has many “F” Script parts. I have intended to change the grill out and re-title it a Ford, but have been procrastinating on that. I bought it in 2008 and converted it to 12volt. It still needs some work, but it is a good reenacting and parade jeep, which is what I intended its use to be. Several extra parts to go with it including: new rear seat cushions, extra Jerry Can, Garand Rifle Scabbard, OD Tarp, Canvas Windshield Cover, Gussets, Manuals, etc. See the attached photos. I am asking $9,500 OBO.”

1958 FC-170 Project Escondido, Ca $2500

• CATEGORIES: FC150-FC170-M677 This site contains affiliate links for which I may be compensated.

UPDATE: Still Available

(02/24/2014) It’s definitely a project.

“Here is a unique project vehicle. 1958 3/4 ton Kaiser Jeep FC-170 Forward Control Pickup. I’ve had this since 2000 but several other projects have taken priority. I have several 4×4’s and was considering turning this into a slammed 2WD cruiser truck, but I now need to thin the herd. This is a pretty solid starting point. Set up for a small block Chevy/TH400. They have been pulled but are still available for additional cost. I traded original 9′ bed for a beat up one, intending to use the base to create a flat/stake bed. All 8 pieces of glass intact except for passenger door window, which is easy to have made. Comes with additional NOS windshield with rubber included ($500 10 years ago) Also comes with these add’l parts: front fiberglass fender flares, set of 5 stock wheels with zero miles roller tires, pair of stronger Chevy axles- corporate 10 front w/discs, 12 bolt rear, both 4.56 gears. (or upgrade to pair of 3/4 ton Dodge 44 HD front w/flat knuckles for xover steering/ Dana 60 full float rear, both 8 lug 4.10 gears), set of steel 8 lug wheels. 327 Chevy small block w/TH400 negotiable. Clear title, pink in hand. $2,500 w/o options.

I also have a ’65 Jeep Wagoneer in another ad.

1948 CJ-2A Manhattan, KS *SOLD**

• CATEGORIES: CJ-2A • TAGS: , This site contains affiliate links for which I may be compensated.

UPDATE:  **SOLD** Was $3500.

(02/24/2014) I can’t tell for sure, but this stock jeep looks like it might have a rare set of “Hublock” hubs.  My second guess are a set of rare Allstate hubs. Runs and drives.

“Looking to sell my 1948 CJ2A Willys Jeep pulled from a barn. It is all original, and runs like a champ. Started and drove in 0 degree weather and made it around town in 14″ of snow. Just replaced headlamps, distributor, plugs, wires, shocks, etc”

UPDATE: Status Unknown. Was $5000

(03/20/2014) Ex Forest Service Jeep?

“This is a very cool classic Willys CJ-2a Jeep. This particular Jeep was modified very early on with a high-side kit and Expedition rack to serve as a Forest Service fire trail go-anywhere rig. The back seat was removed, a utility lock box placed, and the Expedition rack built to hold two 5-gallon fuel cans w/a locking strap, Hi-lift Jack w/same, and a full-sized matching spare tire. It was painted Fire Engine Red way back then, and has a wonderful vintage patina that really goes with the overall vibe of the rig.

Shirts, Books and Posters during our Trip

• CATEGORIES: Event, Features • TAGS: This site contains affiliate links for which I may be compensated.

On this year’s trip we’ll have a few different items you can buy from us as we travel. If you want the items mailed to you, we’ll figure out a way to do that, too. Just email me (d @ ewillys.com). Everything is first come first serve.

The purposes of these items should be pretty obvious: 1) help raise money for our trips, 2) provide unique, vintage jeep items you won’t see elsewhere, and 3) to promote the community of vintage jeeps. For me, it makes the whole eWillys adventure more fun.

SHIRTS are $20 each: They shirts are good quality material that is 60% ring spun cotton and 40% polyester. They are light and very comfortable. The image is based on a WWII bond-drive image printed on an envelope.

1. Olive Drab: I only have Large and X-Large.
2. Gray: I have a couple of Smalls, Mediums and XXL. Mostly, I have Larges and X-Large.

BOOKS are $20 each: Of course, don’t forget about my books. We’ll have copies of both. For those that don’t know, Finding Virginia is personal journey of mine, including my history with jeeps and more. The Amber Panels is an adventure/fiction novel based around the real Amber Panels. Of course, jeeps find there way into it, too.

One of the reasons for we are detouring down to Sante Fe, New Mexico, is to visit the Bataan Museum. WWII in the Pacific and the Philippines will play a role in book three, tentatively titled October Gold.
2014-trip-booksPOSTERS are $10 each: Not many left, but we’ll be carrying some of these with us as well. These are professionally printed 18″x12″ posters. I have varying amounts of each. Want more than one? We can make a deal.

Johnson Jeeps of Utah County

• CATEGORIES: Builds, Features This site contains affiliate links for which I may be compensated.

Jim Johnson, his father and brother are all Willys nuts. He says they can’t get enough of them. Each year they head south from Utah’s Utah County for the Jeep Safari with their vintage jeeps. They enjoy showing how well their ‘old’ jeeps perform against the new ones.

This first jeep is a 1962 CJ-5 that Jim got from his father. Jim fixed it up some and gave it another coat of paint. All three look ready for Moab again this year. Have fun!
