“Selling my 1949 Willy’s Jeep. Original 4cyl engine runs great, transmission and transfer case all good. I bought it a couple years ago to fix up, but have too many other car projects and don’t have enough time. It should be a fairly easy one to road/trail ready. It looks like someone was going to lift the body off the chassis, so needs wiring spliced back together, brake line reconnected, rear drive shaft re-installed and a few minor other things to make it roadworthy. It does drive, now, with only the front drive shaft connected. No title, will sell with bill of sale. Serious offers considered, cash only.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was No Price.
“I have 4 western turbine wheels. They are 15×10 with a 5 on 5.5 bolt pattern. They are like the wheels on the general Lee from dukes of hazard.
Trades I’m looking for
Nice air compressor
Wire feed welder
Plasma cutter
Make some offers.”
These could work for racing.
“I have a matched set of tires that are old Tri-State Traction Transport 6.00-16. All four have what appears to be most of their tread left. These would be great for an old Willys CJ2A with stock 16″ wheels. They are old and do have some weathering, but they are 6 ply tires.
Asking $80 OBO for all four.
Thanks,
Scott

“1946 cj2a VIN 54883.
It is time to liquidate some assets so my wife of almost 50 years can take a trip back to her native Korea Possibly for the last time. So I thought it would be fitting that ” The other woman ” name of the jeep .. should be the asset to liquidate. She ( the jeep ) is located in West Michigan, and can be delivered by me..on a trailer for a fee. As we all know …there is MUCH more invested in Resto/Mod than we will ever re coupe… but the ability to work on this old girl was well worth it. She spent 2 winters in a Chrysler/Jeep dealership show room. and in covered storage to date ( started up on a monthly basis ) You will note this baby has two option not seen very often.. Dual wheels AND extended cargo area ( Both options offered for farm use in the late 1940s ) see pictures here. https://skydrive.live.com/?cid=CC846636913B7D9D&id=CC846636913B7D9D%21426
