“This jeep has been garaged for all the years that I’ve owned it. I just never got to do more than tinker with it. It’s ready for someone to take it all the way. It has a Ford 302 engine, transmission, seats, warn overdrive, back seat, roll cage, headlights, gas tank, etc. Most of the parts are there. Call 253-223-3664, ask for Mike. See photos.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $3400
(04/14/2013) This appears to have potential. It runs and drives.
“This is a 1946 Willys Jeep model CJ2A Universal. The body is very solid although it has had some patches done some time in its life. Drive it as is, or would make an easy restoration to factory original. It runs great and all the running gear works great. It does, however need brake work, electrical work, radiator service and some other misc. stuff. Currently registered in my name with transferable ownership available immediately. This Jeep is NOT ready for the road just yet, but it wouldn’t take much.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was on eBay.
This has the APU hood. Unclear if this was a converted APU flattie or if the hood was added later to this flattie. Only half hour left in the auction:
Joe wrote, “This was the parade entry for the Ft. Miles (DE) Historical Association, 261st Coast Artillery. All the old war horses with military veterans aboard were well received by the thousands in attendance along the parade route.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was on eBay. Listed as a Wyandotte Wooden Jeep on the eBay ad, a reader points out in the comments it is actually a “U.S. Army Miniature Jeep No. 1262” manufactured by the Wood Commodities Corp. New York City U.S.A.
It’s not in perfect shape, but it’s a neat little wooden jeep.

“Here is a hard to find original advertisement for The United States Rubber Company. This great old WWII era Ad was removed from a vintage 1945 Magazine.
Page is about 10 inches by 12 1/2 inches with the actual ad perhaps a bit smaller. Condition of this 68+ year old Ad is excellent.”
