Anyone ever seen one of these in person? I found this in a 1957 Ramsey brochure I bought.
1953 Yakima Ridge Runners Photo
This photo was formerly on eBay and shows a couple of drivers from Yakima Ridge Runners jeep club racing across the desert.

1946 How Light is Light Pamphlet on eBay
Steve pointed out this engineering report from Willys Overland.
“original SAE engineering report , 8.5 x 11 , 12 pages , last two pages are torn with small piece of paper missing at edge , this report was presented by Willys Overland in January 1946 and describes light cars in the US and compares various light cars . The Jeep was not mentioned but it was the only “light car” being produced by Willys Overland at this time .”
1947 CJ-2A Limerick, PA **SOLD**
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $9500
It appears solid. I’m wondering which data plates those are on the dash. The aren’t from a ’47. Maybe repros without a number.
“Need to sell ASAP! Restored 8 years ago. You will get the looks driving this down the road!! Email with questions. does not come with military gear shown in pictures”
1955 Truck Body Rowlett, TX **SOLD**
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $650.
This might be worth a look if you are planning on a custom truck.
“1955 Willys Truck Body Only, restoration incomplete, hood, fenders, doors, front grill, cab changed (reinforced support) as convertible hard top, new sheet metal for truck bed, original ‘W’ tailgate.”
1947 CJ-2A Texoma, TX **SOLD**
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1200.
This is a project.
“I have a non running 1947 Willys CJ2A Jeep for sale. It hasn’t ran in 15 or more years, but ran when parked. Motor will turn over by hand. Body is in pretty good condition for it’s age. Also have an extra Willys hood, 5 steel original wheels that appear to be in pretty good condition. Jeep still has original glass parking light lenses and other original parts, windshield frame appears to be in good condition with the exception of moderate rust at bottom of glass, glass is cracked. It’s been sitting outside and is full of leaves. 2 spark plugs broke when I attempted to remove them (to spray oil in cylinders prior to turning motor over). I have not attempted to remove the plugs with anything, they might come out fine with some penetrating oil. Jeep will need work to get running again, but all parts are there and engine compartment is pretty clean. Will make a great deer lease ride. I took this Jeep in trade, but have realized that I will never get around to fixing it up. $1200 cash.
1963 CJ-6 Schenectady, NY Make Offer
Apparently this has a fiberglass body. I haven’t run across many fiberglass CJ-6 bodies. No pics provided.
“1963 “Willys” Jeep Project – Chassis is completed (differentials all been rebuilt, new warn hubs, Disc brakes, painted etc.)
Also have PTO with the winch and an overdrive, (2 transmissions with transfer cases) plus an additional transfer case, 4.3 chevy engine (with advance adapters mounts) new tie rods, fiberglass body and full steel front end, this jeep is in pretty good shape, it just needs to be put back together. I am open to offers and possible trades. The reason I am getting rid of it is because I purchased a Toyota FJ-40 so I don’t need two off-road vehicles (and I prefer the Toyota). If interested drop me an email. Thanks!”
