Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. This FC has a dual PTO.
“1959 Jeep Willys 4X4 FC-170 Pick up restored Super Cool Truck 12V upgrade + so many more. Rebuilt, New tires & seats, electric & much more. Truck has a compressor w/ front & rear hook-ups to power air compression tools or inflate tires, air horn + lots more. Extremely rare & great restoration. New gas tank ($200) will be needed because some looser punched a hole in the tank to steal the gas a couple of months ago. Truck is located in Palm Springs by Desert Regional Hospital $15K+ invested in restoration to date. Clear title. First $7400 CASH takes it.”

“Selling both my six cylinder willys jeep pick up trucks. The truck with the plow is a 1950, runs and drives real nice, needs brakes and has the typical NY State rust issues inside & out, I do have a registration for this one. The other jeep I believe is a 1962 w/no paper work, this jeep does not run and I have not tried to start it at this time, I was told by the guy I bought it from that it needs points/condenser & cap, otherwise complete. This jeep is in pretty decent condition but still has the NY rust issues. I am asking 3K for both or reasonable offers and will seperate.”

“For sale Rare high hood flat fender willyz jeep in very good condition. Southern California jeep, so minimal rust. Jeep 4 cylinder, warn hubs, warn 2 speed overdrive to split the three speed. Brand new cross bar military style tires, and wheels off of a WW2 jeep. New Best top. Spare set of wide tires and white spokes. Good exhaust. Stewart Warner gauges in original configuration. Ramsey PTO winch with driveline, not installed yet. This jeep hasn’t been butchered up, or lost to rust. You won’t find a cleaner jeep. I just need the room, but it is difficult, knowing I won’t find this nice of a jeep again.

“This is a classic, one-of-a-kind jeep with a 4 cylinder engine and manual tranny. They don’t make them like this anymore…this is for a collector who appreciates restoration of old vintage cars. Call and ask for details from Martin (903) 394-1825. I deal in cash only…no cashier’s checks….cash only with a written contract stating “as is”….what you see is what you are getting. This Jeep does have doors….I took them off to prevent them from being stolen while on the lot. The doors come with the jeep and I will install them for whoever buys from me. Thanks!”

Looks like someone reversed the front springs and did a spring-over-axle customization.
