These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “Jeep M38 for sale. Rust free, garage kept since 1960, by previous owner and myself. Has been converted to 12V, also blinkers and overdrive have been added. 4WD works great, Jeep has no issues and is great condition.”
The VEC is rough, though seller indicates there is a second body. The GPW lacks a body. Price includes many parts.

“This is a 1953 Willys military jeep. It is not perfect but has been saved and redone in many areas. Mechanically good it runs and drives. The carburetor has been rebuilt and the jeep has new batteries. The 24 volt military electrical system in intact and most work. An electric fuel pump has been installed. Sure it is old and not a high speed truck. But rolling history in relativly good condition. The jeep is sold with a bill of sale”
“1962 Willys Wagon. Purchased to complete ongoing restoration but life plans have changed. Runs and drives. Took on several local camping trips up nine mile and fish creek this summer with no issues. Needs to be dialed in but runs well.
Has rebuilt chevy 250 straight 6 with paperwork. New radiator. New brake lines and wheel cylinders. New wheels and tires. Stock transmission and transfer case with overdrive installed. New speedometer was installed with new motor with around 300 miles. Vacuum driven wipers converted to electric. 12-volt wiring. Body is very straight. original patina paint. Has some rust on driver’s side quarter panel on edge of fender well, could be repaired or new panels a readily available. No other rust issues including solid floor. New bucket seats installed. Windshield has center crack, also available to replace. I have a bunch of spare parts, including carb, original parts catalog and spare fuel tank and some glass. This was my dream retirement project but won’t have time to finish.”

– Tub: Good. Has some rusted areas and degradation in corners. Mostly sound. Still restore-able with work.
– Seats: Good. Reupholstered around 2012. Minor tears. Includes front and rear.
– Hood: Very Good. Cosmetic rust on hinges, but mechanically sound.
– Windshield: Excellent: body is great. Glass has cracks.
– Front grille: Very Good
– Fenders: Good. All 4.
– Fuel tank: Good. No leaks.
– Starter: Fair. Has new brushes, works.
– Carburetor: Fair. Can use an overhaul. Works.
– Rear tow hitch: good condition”
One of the tools I acquired a few months ago to work on my cage was a metal chop saw. After doing some research, I settled on the Evolution chop saw, as it had a bunch of good reviews. I found the best price through the manufacturer site itself: Currently it is priced at $379.99
A couple days ago I finally had time to pull it out of its box and give it a test on a piece of angle iron. Holy Smokes! It cut right through the mild steel angle iron, faster than I expected. I don’t know how long the blade will last, but this tool will sure come in handy! It sure beats a hacksaw!!!
