About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

Original seats are it. Frame is good. Alum. top is ugly but it saved the jeep. Asking 1800.00. Can be seen in Amesbury, MA right over the NH border. 978-388-6207.”
“This Jeep “Surrey” has ridiculously low mileage – only 1780 miles in over 50 years! Pale pink exterior, original striped soft top (with fringe!) All original body – and rust free!”

“1949 Willys Jeep original 4 cylinder. Body is in decent shape, floor pans need attention, but otherwise good. Have title for the Jeep. I believe it is complete minus the gas tank. I have too many projects that I will never get to.”
“1942 Willys Jeep. This jeep was bought as a hunting jeep approximately ten years ago. I stopped driving it when my kids were born. The previous owner had it since the end of the war. He used it as a hunting jeep in Napa, California so it was not driven to hard. He had the engine changed to a F4-134 thats why the hood was cut so it would fit. They also put in an old Buick tilt steering wheel because the previous owner was to big to get behind the wheel. I replaced the old unoriginal hubs with new warn hubs. Brakes need rebuilt, needs new leaf springs (The originals are tired and flat). The engine was rebuilt just prior to me buying the jeep. I haven’t put 500 miles on the jeep. The jeep runs but I haven’t driven it in years. It was stored in a barn on the ranch then moved to my garage 4 years ago.”
On the way back from picking up the new top for Biscuit a couple of weeks ago, Karson and I took the scenic route back to Renton and passed through Black Diamond (a very small town). We pulled into a local mini mart and as I exited the car I looked up to see this old sign, still standing. It is a very tall sign and I did my best to get as close as I could, but my phone’s camera just didn’t do a great job. However, if you could see it clearly you would see what appears to be a CJ-3A on the left side.
This CJ-2A comes with a carrier (perhaps to carry extra parts and a tool box?)
“I have a 1946 Willy’s CJ2 that i acquired from the original owner (they bought it in the early 50’s from the military). It has the original engine and runs like a dream. it was used as a ranch vehicle to walk horses. it is in excellent condition but has no windshield and i dont have the money to buy one or the skill to make one. if you are interested in this vehicle call (four three five eight six eight one four four one) and ask for eric and we’ll discuss price. i am interested in trades as well, preferably of the motorcycle variety.”
